Overall

We have a 9 month old puppy and became patients of Dr. Cameron's when we got her at 8 weeks of age. We have made several appointments with their office since then for puppy medical issues. I often feel like a pest calling with questions or puppy advice. They are always very polite and answer my questions. Dr. Cameron is very caring and doesn't rush our appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Cameron and his staff. They are all friendly, caring and take such great care of our puppy daughter.

Dr. Cameron has been my vet of choice for many years. My family started using Dr. Cameron when he was a new vet in the area and when I got married and got cats of my own, I didn't have to give it a second of thought about who their vet would be. I don't live as close to the medical center as i used to, but it's worth the extra drive for me. We trust Dr. Cameron implicitly with our animals. Our cats are members of our family. This means that it is imperative for us to provide them with the best medical care possible. Cameron Medical Center has done this for us. I know that when my cats are there, they are always in great hands.

It is worth noting that this facility has a very large waiting area. I love that. I never understood why other vets would have tiny waiting rooms where a kitten could be forced to sit right next to a Great Dane.

Thank You Cameron Medical Center for everything that you do!

I am so happy with the treatment that Dr Cameron and his staff gave to Isabella while she was in their care. They removed 2 large stones from her bladder; kept her 2 days; (which there was no charge for the stay) alowed me to visit her; and called me daily with the update on her. (even made a call to me to see how she was doing after she returned home) Cameron Medical Center For Animals was referred to me and I certainly uinderstand why. You can just see how much Dr. Cameron cares. By the way, Marie is the groomer there and I must say, Isabella loves her! She's always happy to go there. That tells me alot!! If you need a Vet, that's the place to go.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I have been using them for the past 13 years for all treatments including grooming. My dog was getting very sick following vaccines and Dr. Cameron worked very closedly with us to figure out what was causing the problem. Facility is clean and it is obvious that everyone there is very dedicated to the well being of the animals they treat. Their prices are also very comperable.

Dr. Cameron has treated the pets and I very well. I have not been to another doctor that talks to you like you are family and treats the pets as if they were his own. His staff treats us in the same way as he does. Also his office is always clean and well organized when I walk into the office. I have to say if I was a veterinarian I would want to be just like him, because I love being his client!

Dr. Cameron has taken care of ...

Dr. Cameron has taken care of my dog for 10 years. Replaced 2 knees, and every little problem a beagle can have (which can be alot..) The staff has always been VERY nice and prompt. And i will never let anyone else touch my dog. 2 years ago my dog got into chicken bones and was in very bad shape.. The staff took care of my dog for 4 days straight, kept me informed and they got him fixed without surgery, other vets i talked to told me they would have put him to sleep due to where the issue was and the issues surgery would have caused.

P.S. a vet saying he hopes your dog dies? I dont think any rational adult reading this would ever believe that story..

I have been taking my cats to ...

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Cameron for years now and he & his staff have always been GREAT to me and my cats. I have a senior cat that has required quite a bit of specialized care and Dr. Cameron has helped with that thus keeping my cat healthy so far for the 15 years he's been alive! I also have a highly problematic cat with terrible aggression issues and Dr. Cameron has treated her very kindly and helped her through some pretty traumatic situations with nothing but care and compassion. Despite Dr. Cameron's long winded nature, I sincerely appreciate the detailed explinations of what exactly is occuring with my animals and what we can do to fix it. I would recommend him to a pet owner in a heartbeat.

5 stars! My parents have been going to Dr. Cameron for years. Now that I have my own dog, I decided to take my family's recommendation. I took Roger in for some constipation issues twice this week. You can tell Dr. Cameron really cares by how he assesses the problem then builds a treatment/plan that will fit your budget. (He also spotted early signs of bronchitis...so it will be easier to treat)Turns out I don't have to sell one of my guitars after all! Recommended!

I would like to relay my objec...

I would like to relay my objective and TRUE point of view concerning the event that the previous review writer communicated. I am an employee at Cameron Medical Center and I have been for the last 7 years and I am beginning to tire of these false accusations made against Dr. Cameron and his establishment. The woman ( rater "TheBoo2" ) should not be the first to accuse rudeness- she came in with a ill-willed attitude and sought to make everyone around her just as unhappy as she . She may have had to wait, but it was not 25 minutes; the medical business is very unpredictable- and while we do our best to be punctual, some appointments take more time than others. I am sure that had it been her pet who was severely unwell, she would have appreciated Dr. Cameron's attention as I am sure the appointment before hers did. After her 10 minute wait (which I might add is far less time than one has to wait for an appointment at a family doctor) Dr. Cameron went in and examined her pet. When it came time to pay the woman refused to pay for an exam because she claims she did not want an exam. We explained to her that exams are required for vaccination- to do otherwise would mean malpractice on Dr. Cameron's part. If she reads this- she asked us to point out where it says we require and exam- it says so on our website- not that we wouldn't have happily given her an estimate for all services over phone or in person before services were rendered. After she refused to pay for the exam portion of the invoice- Dr. Cameron asked her to leave without paying anything. When she refused over and over again and started making a scene in our waiting room- Dr. Cameron called the police to escort her off the premises. She also made several personal accusations toward Dr. Cameron and our staff and was without a doubt one of the most immature people I have ever had the displeasure of being acquainted with. While many would consider my motives slanted- I am being completely and truly honest when I say that Cameron Medical Center is a wonderful place to work and a wonderful place to take your pets for medical care. We ALWAYS strive to make it a professional and pleasant experience for pet-owners and give the best care to our patients. Clearly, no matter what we do we can never make everyone happy and reviews online seem to be a place for dissatisfied people to rant- but I know for a fact that most of our clients would go nowhere else and I would encourage anyone looking for a veterinary hospitals to just come once and decide for yourself.

Very Disappointed

Dr.Cameron may one of the rudest people who only cares about $ and not animals. He is always late for appointments and changes the billing according to how he feels that day it seems. Maybe he should find another job if he doesn't care about the animals anymore. I've had very bad experiences here and with Dr.Cameron concerning my pets. I've also witnessed him to be rude to employees in front of me during my appointments... Very distasteful and unprofessional. I’m not a fan of being talked down to and that’s pretty much what he did the entire appointment. They only carry science diet food which is terrible for your pet. Oh and if you want that food you better put in a order because they are always out rather then be a reasonable person and go to a pet store which will probably be cheaper (and for the food that is there you might want to check the expiration date on the cans, seems a little old). You're better off taking your pet to Wilson or Madison Veterinarian.
