Hair Dimensions

It is heart breaking to write this review. The environment was friendly and nice. The hair stylist was very nice but she did not do a nice job on my hair.. Since I have curly and thick hair, I asked for long layer. But she cut layers very short and uneven. There is no way to manage my hair (blow-dry, curly hair, ...). When the hair stylist was working on my hair, it was so many distractions; she was giving advice to other hairstylist, planning for event, .....

This is a first class Salon. The salon was renovated recently
and it is beautiful. This salon is located on Tuckahoe Rd in Yonkers, with a big parking lot. My stylist name is Jeanie. She is really experienced at cutting. styling and coloring hair, definitely a professional. Jeanie is extremely helpful in working with clients to achieve what they are requesting. My hair is not the best, but Jeanie always makes it look great. In fact the whole staff is very helpful, especially Angela, the receptionist, in finding a time slot to accommodate your schedule. The shampoo girls are very friendly and make you feel so comfortable. Make an appointment with Jeanie, you will no be disappointed.

I was looking for a new salon because I am new to the area and a friend recommended Hair Dimension, so I decided to give it a try.... When you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Being that I was never there I was escorted to my stylist and introduced to her. After my consultation I got a beautiful highlight and color. I am so pleased with the results !!!!!!!! I have gotten so many compliments and people have actually stopped to ask where I get my hair done... My hair dresser was so cool and easy going , she made me feel very comfortable and after I was done I received a welcome bag for new clients.... I will definitely be returning to this salon and recommending it to others. !!! Thank You so much for the great job....

As the owner of Hair Dimension, I would like to respond to the 'hilite' review. I truly apologize if you were unhappy with your haircut. As hair stylists, it is our responsibility to make our clients happy. It seems like in this case, we did not. Sometimes we make mistakes, after all, we are all human. Sometimes we have mis-communication with our clients...and sometimes, the stylist and client just don't 'click'. I would like to offer 'hilite' a complimentary haircut and blowdry when you are ready for your next haircut. I promise you that I will stand by our salon status as 'Best Salon in Yonkers'... and that you will leave extremely happy! Okay so today I went in and got a cut and double-process color...this salon was so well run I decided to come on here and talk about it, if you know me then you'd know its unlike me to rant about something unless its truly good. This salon certainly took the cake! For years I have gone to salons and asked for styles and I've gotten the exact opposite of what I wanted..I came here and I got more than I expected. Everyone was so nice and polite and always looking to help. Seriously I think all they do is work cause they do it to perfection! The stylist listen and make sure you get exactly what you came in for. Now I have beautifully cut and colored hair and I couldn't be happier with the service they provide! They truly are the best salon in Yonkers! Keep up the best good guys! If you want quality service then Hair Dimensions is definitely the place to go..

I have been to many many hair salons and always have the shakes right before I get my hair colored and/or cut but this salon put me at ease! Im honestly very picky and always want something unique and trendy with my color and cut . I had no pictures when I walked it but after discussing exactly what I wanted with my stylist that got it just the way I wanted . I have been a loyal customer for over a 10 years now and really am not one to recommend things like this because everyones idea of perfection is different and ones hair is a very personal thing but I have recommended this salon to many of my friends and family members of all ages mind you and everyone has been more than happy when they walk out the door! I also have 4 children 2 that are into that long hair style that is so popular now and they cut there hair perfectly . One of my son's has very straight but full hair and the other has very very curly hair and Im very satisfied with the job they do on them . Also my youngest daughter who has alopecia and sometimes has problem spots , when they cut they cut her hair they are very gentle and try to make sure you really cant see the spots where there is missing hair by the way they style and cut it . This salon is not only professional and friendly but does excellent work . Go today!

I heard about this salon from a friend and decided to give it a try. Not only was my stylist a doll, she was an expert! She colored, highlighted and cut my hair in such a way, that it has never looked better. My hair shines and is so healthy. The products they use really make a difference! I recommend it to all of my friends and family.
