A-1 Tree Service Eastside

Incredibly unprofessional, he wasted my time and left me hanging!!! I contacted A-1 based on good reviews including one for the same service I needed - chipping several large piles of pruned tree branches. Jerry returned my call a day later and swung by that afternoon to take a look. He gave me an estimate and I agreed to his rates. He had me sign his estimate and we scheduled the work for 10 days later. It was farther out than I would have preferred, but it would still have been finished the Thursday before the Memorial Day holiday when I had family arriving from out of state. I stayed home on Thursday to facilitate the work. By that afternoon, no one had arrived and I had received no phone call indicating there was a problem or delay. I called to find out what was up and got screened by an answering machine. I called two more times that day and once again on Friday but never received any return call. Nor did anyone ever show up to do the work.If Jerry hadn't agreed to do the work, had me sign his estimate and scheduled the work I would have had plenty of time to arrange for someone else to do the work. I ended up having to rent a chipper and my family and I had to do the work instead of the vacation we had planned.

We were very happy with A-1 Tree Service.A-1 was our third bid and the only company that did not request we remove our fence prior to the trees coming down.They brought down two 130' trees within a ten foot radius, without touching the patio or fence-amazing! The trees were no longer healty so had to be removed-the owner, who is knowledgeable and friendly, advised us on the needed permits.We have already recommended this company to friends!

Very professional, prompt and clear communication. Got a difficult job done well.We are doing a new fence and there are a few stumps in the back of the forest that other companies did not want to grind because of the difficult access to those stumps. Jerry took care of the problem and was charging a very fair price for it.Also, he cleaned up the ground up mulch for the stumps in the front as well, which another company that we have used before was not willing to do.A+++ service.

We can't say enough about A-1 Tree Service. They are professional, responsive and provide amazing customer service, not to mention, just good all-around people. It was Good Friday, 2010, when the 120-ft Douglas Fir in our back yard was leaning toward our house. There was a terrible windstorm and our tree had about a 20-ft split up its base that we had not noticed until this time. Jerry Wall came out at a moment's notice and quickly mobilized his team to secure the base of the tree. He personally climbed and topped this tree, as the winds blew and blew. He saved our home! His team came back out after Easter and took the rest of the tree down. They have since been back to wind-shear the rest of our large trees so we won't be in this predicament again. We have nothing but praise for Jerry Wall and his amazing A-1 team.

Being a very selective gardener I have felt very fortunate to find A1 Tree Service. Their work is excellent and my garden is living proof! These hard working professionals listen to what you want done and they do all they can to make you pleased with the job. A1 is very fastidious about cleanup. I can highly recommend A1 Tree Service! A-1 Tree Service is the best!! I am a very particular gardener/ garden designer and have had my garden featured in magazines and books. Believe me when I tell you that I would not consider hiring any other crew to carefully prune and shape my large 12' Leylandi cypress hedge and my many other specimen trees and shrubs. They have pruned and thinned my trees and shrubs to show them to their best potential. I am very confident that you will be very happy with the results of their labor and their competitive rates. I know that if I had an emergency they would do their best to help me as quickly as possible. A1 is second to none in their tidiness and cleanup. They are respectful and easy to have around! A-1 Tree Service has cut a number of our tree's over the year's and every one has been a difficult tree to remove. We have mature landscaping that cannot be disturbed or broken and they have brought down each very large tree without one bit of damage to our landscaping or our neighbors! When I say tree's over the year's it means that when you find the best company to work with, changing is not needed. The area is cleaned, branches chipped, logs hauled away and stumps ground, all for a very fair price. A-1 Tree Service is the only company to use!!

We recently had some work done by A-1 Tree Service and were very pleased with the experience. Jerry was extremely helpful in assessing the trees of concern & knowledgable in suggesting a course of action that maximized safety and minimized the number of trees removed from our property.
