Vaccination
We offer boarding to our clients so that you can enjoy your time away knowing that your pet will be safe and comfortable with us. Because we have a limited area for boarding, we recommend making reservations in advance for your pet’s stay. To protect your pet and other patients at our hospital and those that are boarding, we require that all pets boarding at our facility are current on vaccinations and free of fleas.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
Even with the very best care, pets do become sick. We understand that you want the best possible care for your pet whenever he or she is not feeling well. Through continued education, our veterinarians stay current on the most recent and advanced information to diagnose and treat your pet. This includes all realms of your pet’s care, such as cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery.
Behavioral Counseling
Dr. Sophia Yin is a veterinarian with a degree in animal behavior. She provides great tips on positive reinforcement training and advice on behavior modification.
Nutritional Counseling
Our trained staff can help you choose the right diet for your pet’s life stage to keep him or her healthy. We offer prescription diets to address the needs of pets with ongoing health issues. Precise nutrition has a great impact on your pet’s health.
Comprehensive Examination
There are many conditions that can cause your pet’s skin, hair, ears, and nails to be abnormal. During your pet’s evaluation, our veterinarians can identify skin lesions/sores and possible patterns they form on your pet which aids in the selection of proper diagnostic procedures. Diagnostics, such as skin and ear cytology, skin scrapings, skin and ear cultures, skin testing, and skin biopsy may be utilized. After a comprehensive examination, our doctors will discuss a plan to alleviate the discomfort your pet is experiencing.

Spaying and Neutering
We take special care of all of our surgical patients. After a thorough pre-anesthetic evaluation, which includes a physical examination and pre-anesthetic blood work as a test of organ function for revealing possible hidden health conditions or genetic disorders, an individualized anesthetic plan is formulated for your pet. One of our certified veterinary technicians will monitor your pet during the procedure and provide post-surgical nursing care. Our advance monitoring equipment includes electrocardiogram (ECG), pulse oximetry (blood oxygen), blood pressure, respiration, body temperature, and capnography (carbon dioxide) monitors. Our doctors are highly skilled surgeons – offering a wide range of surgical procedures from a routine ovariohysterectomy (spay) or castration to complicated orthopedic procedures, mass removals, and emergency procedures.

Laboratory Services
AAHA standards require us to provide diagnostic services, such as x-ray and in-house laboratory services so that we can quickly and accurately diagnose your pet. We also have an onsite pharmacy which allows us to begin treatment immediately. Your pet’s medical records must be thorough and complete which helps us better understand your pet’s medical history and past health issues that might impact his or her current medical status. AAHA accreditation helps us as veterinary hospitals to stay on the leading edge of veterinary medicine and provide the quality and range of services you and your pet deserve.
X-Ray
In addition to our on-site laboratory, digital radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasonography, we have various other diagnostic equipment available at our clinic to provide your pet with accurate and timely test results. These tools, which include electrocardiogram (ECG), blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and tonometry capabilities, allow our veterinarians to provide your pet with a more comprehensive evaluation and institute treatment accordingly. We also have veterinary specialists available for telephone consultation and are familiar with several referral locations if further testing and treatment are deemed necessary.
Dental Radiology
As your pet ages you will notice subtle changes. It is important to understand normal aging versus abnormal changes in your pet’s health. Proper dental care is one of the foundations of maintaining your pet’s health and comfort. Periodontal disease is a leading health care problem. Dental disease puts a stress on your pet’s immune system and can lead to serious liver, kidney, respiratory, and heart disease. We provide an extensive dental care program including ultrasonic cleaning, periodontal therapy, care for damaged teeth, and a barrier sealant to help retard future tarter build up. Our state of the art digital dental x-ray system allows us to diagnose and treat otherwise hidden dental disease. Proper preventative dental care can add years to the life of your pet.
Microchipping
The microchip contains a personal, one-of-a-kind identification number, which is injected under the skin of your pet just like a vaccination. This provides a permanent, positive identification which cannot be lost, altered, or intentionally removed – a safe, simple, inexpensive way to protect your pet against loss or theft. Microchips have helped reunite numerous pets with their families. By microchipping and registering your pet in your name, it will greatly increase the chances of a safe recovery in unfortunate situations.
