Rite Aid

This is a fairly standard and usually well-stocked chain drug store. They run out of bestsellers at least once a week, but so does CVS. The prices are usually competitive, and the weekly specials are worth seeking out. But be prepared for frustration when it comes to the check-out counter. The counter personnel are mostly slow, bored, unfriendly and unhelpful (even though the managers are pretty good). If you are fortunate enough to get the rare good checker, smile at him or her, thank him or her profusely, and be assured that he or she will likely not still be working there in another week or two.
