AcademyHealth is one of the leading nonpartisan organizations offering resources to health service researchers, policy analysts and practitioners. The association convenes national scientific and health policy conferences, assists public and private policymakers in drafting workable programs and educates policymakers, researchers, government officials and business leaders. It also disseminates vital information through research syntheses, special reports and findings, newsletters, and through its Web site. The organization s Program on Medicare's Future and Knowledge Transfer serves the research community, health policy leaders, and business and government decision makers. AcademyHealth also fosters an international exchange of ideas and resources through its International Exchange for Health Care Policy and Research. AcademyHealth has its headquarters in Washington, D.C.
