Troy Dance Studio

Well if we were to give good feed back towards this Studio the only thing good is the two young boys that teach the salsa classes Gaby & think the other ones name is Cristian.

They both are very talented and passionate of teaching these complicated dance styles. I had several private lessons with a friend several months ago with Gaby and I can tell you this young man not only guide us every step of the way he had this angelic personality to teach you everything very calmly. I would recommend you to take a lesson with him but sadly he no longer is in that location (this is one of the reasons why several people left). I returned to the studio because he came back to teach and sadly he left to soon.

However Cristian also is very good at teaching bachata love how he creates different turns and styles within the same rhythms. He taught one of my coworkers daughter some private lessons and she is a very talented young lady.

On the other hand the owner is very disrespectful, irresponsible and doesn’t know how to treat her customers in a proper way. I have witnessed several altercations with her instructors and she is a mediocre dancer. She constantly interrupts the group classes to try and sell you some classes of products. She always has something to critic by trying to teach things that are probably from the 60’s. She over charges the classes and her studio is basically not in shape to be in business. (swiping peoples cards without them noticing or charging them extra money for some lame excuse). If I keep on going I will never finish.

If you wish to save a hard time and bad then take your business some were else.

Troy Dance Studio needs to change owners or something because this lady has no clue what she is doing.

This place is AWFUL! My boyfriend and I got some passes on living social and figured we would try this (it said beginners). We are not shy people by any means. We walked in and waited for a few minutes before an employee came to help us, she didn't speak fluent english so she couldn't answer our questions or help us pick classes to suit our skill level. We came on a Monday for salsa lessons. Music came on, people just started dancing...no instruction, no introduction. The class was instructed by 2 young (maybe 25) flamboyant males. You are told to switch partners every time you finally get the rhythm and moves correct, which is frustrating when you only have a few of these "lessons" to get the dances down...I wanna dance with my man, not some lady.LOL...the other review is right..it's like a family and newcomers are unwelcome! TROY DANCE EMPLOYEES--- take time, introduce yourselves and the dances, start off with steps and break them down, not a free for all where newbies feel dumb. We ended up walking out of the class after 20 minutes. We paid for 6 classes and will NOT be returning to this unorganized and chaotic dance studio. I'd rather eat the 60 bucks.....
