Heating Plus Cooling Troy

I had them diagnose and repair a leaking system. A different company installed the equipment and left a big hole in a solder joint. Heating plus cooling replaced the elbow and recharged the system. The refrigerant leaked out in a couple weeks at the same spot. Sid told me the unit was designed incorrectly and I had to contact the manufacturer and have them correct a design flaw that was 'cracking the elbows'. I looked at the elbow they replaced and it was the same condition, porosity in the solder joint leaving a hole, not 'cracked'. They came out a second time replaced the elbow. He billed me to refill the system (didn't pay). I held onto the elbow for several weeks to show him, he never cared to look at it.

Next, I gave him another chance an had him install some HVAC on the rooftop. The new unit was leaking condensate inside the offices. I called and he said without hesitation "its maintenance, the units have to be cleaned and serviced". I checked the belt, filters and cleaned off the condensers. It was new so the belt and filters looked good. I asked him to provide the service so the water problem would stop, he promised me someone would be out the next week to 'service'. I never heard anything or saw any service report. we continued to have water dripping all over the offices under the unit. I called and asked if they were serviced, he said yes. I had him come out personally and we both looked at the unit. He claimed the belt was so worn that it affected the RPM to a degree that it may be part of the problem (ridiculous), the original filters were in, and no other cleaning had taken place on the condensers other that what I did, yet he still claimed that someone had been out for 'service'. He was full of excuses and not solutions. I just told him "either you have to solve it or I do". So were waiting for hot weather so he can see for himself. Today, I had complaints that the offices were cold. Sid left the power off to the unit when he looked at it last week. These are the facts
