Dye & Dash

Don't waste your time or money. My appointment was for 10 when they opened and colorist didn't show up until almost 10:15. The mess they make is horrible and who thinks its ok to come out 2 inches on to your face with color that i had to remove myself and over-priced at 30 bucks for just roots. Won't go back and will tell all I know not to go.

I had high hopes for this place but was EXTREMELY disappointed. I went in for a root touch-up. My colorist was very nice and I was happy to be done within an hour. However, 3 days after my appointment, I noticed that the color had ALREADY faded from my roots...my gray hair was back! In 20 years of dying my hair, I have never had this happen. I went in the next day to talk to them and arrived during their normal business hours and THEY WERE CLOSED! I checked my watch and the hours listed on the door and they definitely were supposed to be open during that time, no sign posted about closing early! I will definitely not be going back, wasted my time and money!

I have had my hair done there twice and it has been exactly what I wanted both times. While I was there I saw a girl going a vibrant red from a blonde/with turquoise. Her results were amazing. Yes, she was there longer than I was. One should be aware when going from one color to a completely different color it takes more than an hour. Anywhere you go. My color took an hour and a half for color and highlights. Everyones hair is different and sometimes what might work for one doesn't for others. I highly recommend Dye and Dash! Loved the relaxed warm atmosphere and all the girls there were doing beautiful work on all their clients. Props to Courtney for the transformation you did! Jenna thanks for covering my grays and giving me the perfect blonde highlights.

Love all of the staff here, Jenna is my colorist and she is amazing. Always a great result no matter what I throw at her! Cool space, very convenient, all around great vibe!

I called to make an appointment and the person on the phone seemed rude. I should have taken this as a bad sign. I went in with brown hair that I wanted to have dyed to strawberry blond. I showed the stylist a picture and she said "oh, no problem. That will be easy!" She dyed it and it came out darker than when i came in. Then she tried to dye it again to make it lighter, it didn't do anything. Then she ended up treating my hair by stripping the color from it to get the color I wanted. Yes, I did leave loving the color it turned out but it was not worth $90 and 3HOURS (of time she was actually working on my hair). I would much rather spend that money at my regular salon to get a cut and color. I for sure DON'T RECOMMEND going to dye and dash.

I visited Dye and Dash today and couldn't be more pleased with the services I received. The price was over 1/2 the charge of the upscale salon I usually frequent with equal results. I will be back for sure! ��������

I recently paid a visit to Dye and Dash in Troy for a touch-up of roots. I must say this was the most disappointing way of spending cash, in fact, I would NOT recommend this place. The concept is good but poorly executed, right down to the management.
