Colorworks Studio, Inc has provided complete interior design services since 1978, ranging from a full architectural project where the architect, builder and designer work as a team, to a simple re-decoration of a room or area. New construction and remodeling comprise a portion of our workload, as well as our expertise in kitchen and bath planning. In addition, project management and on site coordination are available.The Studio offers product lines from all major manufacturers of furniture, fabric, paint, wall covering, accessories, fine art, window treatments, floor covering and bedding, as well as custom fabrication for all types of cabinetry and furniture.Publications showcasing our work include The Detroit News, The Jewish News, Observer & Eccentric Newspapers, Style Magazine, the Oakland Press, and Detroit Home Magazine.Colorworks has appeared on HGTV's Designer's Challenge, completing a urban loft project in Detroit. Custom furniture from this project garnered a first place award in Detroit Home Magazine's 2006 Design Awards. Our projects have also been included in a newly published hardcover - "Spectacular Homes of Michigan."Conveniently located in Birmingham, Michigan, we are able to service the metro Detroit community, as well as out of state clientele.
