I recently bought furniture at the Thornton store. I was moving into a new apartment and wanted everything to look nice. The sales girl came to my apartment to measure and she even gave me some decorating ideas. I love my new furniture! I would definitely shop there again.

Geat Experience!I purchased a living room set and spent less than I anticitaped. The set is perfect, the sales people were very helpful with no pressure what-so-ever, the delivery was on time, I even got a call after the delivery making sure everything was okay. I can't imagine buying furniture anywhere else. Thank you American Furniture!

Very recently purchased a chest of drawers and scheduled delivery from this store (which AFW calls the Thornton Super Store) and had no less than a terrific experience. Shopping online was a breeze, their response to my order was immediate by email and correct, they called to schedule delivery and it was delivered precisely on time by two very nice employees who were patient and compliant with the things I asked them to do. The chest of drawers was wrapped well in plastic and it's a magnificent piece. I absolutely love it! GREAT value for the price and looks just as good as online, if not better. I am disabled and cannot shop like everyone else so this was just ideal for me. I would recommend that if you have oak furnishings to match that you look for oak and/or oak veneers (or whatever your wood choice may be...) in the item's detailed description to avoid disappointment when you get the piece home. Mine is perfectly oak all the way and looks wonderful in my bedroom. Thanks AFW!

I purchased an awesome living room set for my apartment that was actually in my budget. The salesman was really nice and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I'll be back when it's time to redecorate for sure!

We purchased a couch that ended up on the AFW defective items list...they didn't notify us, even when we called and had a technician come to repair the peeling skin of the couch.After calling AFW, they said they couldn't do anything about it...well, they didn't notify us that the couch had a recall on it, so I guess they wouldn't do anything for us now either. Just beware, anything you buy there is "as-is", no matter what the warranty says.

AFW=All Fools Welcome. More lies than congress. I was looking for inexpensive and I got CHEAP. The finish smells so bad it is probably toxic. Impossible to work with this staff.

Found fantastic deals on kid's furniture. Quality is good for the price.
