We consulted with four landscape architects about changes to our residential property and none provided satisfactory solutions to all the concrete that dominated the landscape. In fact, one landscape architect said, "I don't know how to help you." Our home and landscape was originally designed by an architectural firm prior to our purchasing the property. But the layout just never worked or never for us, sad to say. John had done some work for our firm and I asked him to take a look. He learned our habits, how we utilized the property and what portions we didn't use. He formulated how to use the large space better than we who have lived there for fifteen years. He envisioned changes to correct ill conceived traffic patterns, tight walkways, boring landscaping, new design for under used areas, and gave us a renewed interest in our own property. Communication was fluid and personal. I surprised myself by saying "Yes!" to every concept he proposed. His enthusiasm invigorated us.

Solid communication with my architect and contractor. Made what I thought would be a headache project into an exciting, end-quality, enriching experience.
