South Tacoma Auto Sales

This place is a joke stay far away, they sold my husband and I a car with a bent frame not worth the value we paid for. They even showed us the car facts that didnt match the car we bought and our finance company thought we even purchased a different car not the white galant we had been paying on for the last two years. We went to trade in our galant and the dealer ship we had been working with would not take our car because of the bent frame. We had no idea and so not safe now we know why we every time we get the alinement fixed it still pulls to the right all make sense now. This a joke they sale salvage cars and show bad car facts that are not correct at all. Even fiance company told us they do not fiance salvage cars well they did and lied. It was our first car we ever bought and we are so lame for believing their bs lies!!!! Plus even saying beggars cant be choosers, so unprofessional!!!! On top of this all the dealer ship we just purchased our new car said this wasnt the first time someone came to trade in a car from south tacoma auto with a salvage title and no idea!! We have been the 5th one this year and they just rip people off, they need to disclose this all and no rip off the military!!!

So they sold us a car and we traded our Durango to them the guy who sold the car to us said they'd pay off what we owe on the Durango and not to worry about it and he said but we need 1500 down on the journey we purchased from them so we said ok got the money traded the Durango and and took the journey home two days later my husband called the bank to find out our Durango had in fact not been paid off so we called and they said we owe 3000 so we go back to tacoma auto and they said who ever sold you the car basically didn't do it right and that we needed to give them 3000 more! So we got our Durango back it's a 2007 it's a nice Durango but gas is insane that's why we wanted a new SUV better on gas like the journey however I was very upset at what they did and the icing on the cake I'm unsure of his name he's the manager with blonde hair he told me and my husband beggars can't be choosers because we didn't like the selection of cars he was showing us instead of the journey they already sold us that we had to give back due to them messing up WOW how rude no respect from that guy what so ever I ha a hard time holding back! We are a military family yes we are young but none the less you don't talk to your costumers like that let alone a soldier wow total slap to the face considering we already have a nice car and we aren't begging for anything buddy I wanted to cuss him out at how immature and irresponsible and disrespectful this so called manager was the other staff where ok but the manager total A word I will never go back or recommend them to any one

Published my car on Craig's List and was contacted by So Tacoma Auto Sales. Right from the start they were very professional, not aggressive. Gave us a really fare price for our car. They had everything covered when I delivered the car. So professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone, either buying or selling.

This place is unbelievable. My boyfriend and I went in right before New Years because we desperatly needed a car. I drove in my car that was barely hanging in there to trade in. We dealt with a guy named Alejandro. He was something else. Everytime I would point something out that was wrong with a car he would try and cover it up or make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. We finally decided on a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and when we decided we had told him we would get it if they lowered the price, because the alignment was off, and the brakes squeaked, and the keypad was busted. We advised we wanted all of this fixed and we could overlook the exterior damage. (scratches all over the trunk and the Chevy symbol was deterioated. He said he could write that in the contract. We sat in there waiting for two hours and the next thing we know Alejandro left and got us a new agent named Arturo. We let Arturo know what was going on and what we expected and he looked at us like we were crazy. I guess they don't communicate. Another few hours go by and we were told we can meet with the finance manager. I handed over my key. We got all of the paperwork signed for the trade and for our new car, and we were informed that we were financed and we were good to go. We were pretty excited to finally have a newer car. Fast forward two weeks, we get a phone call telling us that we need to meet with the bank. So we get up and we get dressed and print out a copy of the paystubs and we get down there. We wait for a couple hours and the advisor from the bank told us he could not finance us and that the dealership had LIED on the application they sent to them about how much we made a year. So Humberto, the finance manager at South Tacoma Auto told us that he would get another bank to finance us and to come back in a few days. We left completed exhausted and frustrated at the situation. We than read over the contract that night and realized that they had put the incorrect mileage on the papers. Which voided it and they voided it by not having us financed. The contract actually stated THEY were the financer. Hmmm...so we immediately go back the next day and try to talk to someone. They had us wait, and we waitied for a good two hours before the manager of the location came up to me and said he was getting my old car...wait what? No one told me anything, and now you are telling me that you are getting my old car, wow. So he refunds our money. We wait a couple more hours (and let me just say they left my car outside running this entire time running it out of gas) and we are finally out of there with a meek apology and a contract stating that we won't have to pay for the mileage we put on the car. Than they said that we can come back anytime to get a car! Are you kidding me? You ripped my car from underneath me and want me to get another one from you goons? I don't think so. And just a little FYI, I looked on the site and the car we had is listed. VIN number: 1G1AT58H597293832 and it states it has 42,126 well it has over 46,000 and the alignment is off, the keypad is broken, it DOES NOT work, and there is scratches all over the body, uneven wear on the tires, and if you want it and test drive it, get it on the freeway---the transmission acts a little funny. My reccomendation. Don't bother. Not worth your time. These people don't deserve the commission. They are cocky and could care less about you.

This company relentlessly spams Craigslist, both in an out of state. When you contact their email through Craiglist, you get no response. They have been asked multiple times to stop spamming, and have not responded. They use mis-categorized labels in their listings so their cars show up, even when you didn't search for that particular model. Lastly, they're violating Craigslist terms of service by using an automatic posting service/software, that perpetually keeps their listings at the top of pages.

South Tacoma Auto has been helping me and my family with all of our car needs. They’ve been good to us and the quality of the people who work there is rare just like their selection of vehicles. They’ve always been great us. The friends that we have referred to them over the years all have great things to say about South Tacoma Auto.

I went to the dealership to check out an Xterra that I really wanted. The sales rep. warned me that the Xterra was missing the passenger side mirror and but the part would be ordered and installed if I did purchased the car. It didn’t bother me. I already had my mind set on. It only took one day for them to fix the car. I was impressed with the service and honesty.

I recommend South Tacoma Auto to everyone looking for an honest deal for a used car. We bought a Nissan here and we were impressed, my wife and I, of how friendly and open all the employees were. We enjoyed the experience and we will spread the word about it.

We pull a small food trailer around town to sell to local businesses at lunch time. The truck we had been using for years had finally gotten to the point of not being able to be repaired so we knew it was time to get a new one. We wanted a quality truck without having to spend a fortune. It was hard finding a truck strong enough to pull our trailer first off and when we did, we couldn't ever agree on a price with the lots. S Tacoma made us a great deal. They had several trucks to choose from with all different types of options and were willing to work us out a deal that we were pleased with. Great place to do your vehicle shopping.

The salesman found the right car for me after listening carefully to what I was looking for, the financing paper work went very smoothly and by the time we were finished with all the talk, the car was waiting for me outside, so I could drive it home right away. Very nice experience with very easy going people.
