My first visit and last. I went in for an oil change and was told that I needed an oil filter housing gasket to stop an oil leak. I was told by the manager that the part was $4.67 which he would order from Toyota and 1 hour of labor at $80.00 an hour. I went back a couple of weeks later for the work to be done and when the invoice was printed out the. Sub total was $155.21. I was charged $47.78 for the part although the Toyota genuine OEM website has the part listed at $5.30 retail. I spoke to the manager about this but his explanation was that the bottom line of $149.19 after $10.95 in coupon discounts (i presented no coupons) which included the oil change for $26.33 was right but it was the way that the technician entered the charges into the system was the reason there was a discrepancy in the invoice. I was at the shop less than and hour so no additional labor should apply. So buyer beware. Get your quote in writing and review you invoice.
