Overall

unless your haircut is very basic i wouldnt recommend this shop. he doesnt speak very good english and didnt understand what i wanted. i ended up spending a lot of time there and going to another barber shop right after...i couldnt afford to waste more time getting him to do it properly. so again, unless your haircut is amazingly simple, youre better off trying out the mall.

Overall
great "italian stallion" haircut

this barbershop is in an old shabby looking building on busy 7th st., and is a little messy inside, but don't let that fool you - the haircut quality is "italian stallion" level. the barber is an older guy, and italian is still spoken with some of the older customers that come in. hours are limited and generally open in the afternoon, and he can be pretty busy during that time. the afternoon i went, i had about a 20 min wait as he worked on another guy. i then got in the chair, explained how i wanted it trimmed up, and he threw a cape around me and started barbering. he trimmed for about 10 minutes until he got it the right length and looking good, then used warm shaving cream on back of neck and around ears to give a regular razor shave to those areas, then put a handful of good-smelling aftershave on. then he rubbed some kind of lotion stuff in it that helped it stay in place, and combed it up real neat looking with a clean part. he finished me by trimming/grooming up a little more, dusted me with some barber powder, and brushed off the loose hair. haircut looked great, and stayed decent and easily controlled for the next couple weeks. cost was only $10 which for a real decent haircut is a good deal these days. conveniently located, easy parking across the street. italian barbershops are known to give sharp looking haircuts and this on is no different. would recommend rinaldi's to you for a sharp looking haircut.
