Malik Motors

My car died and wouldn't start so I towed it to Malik Motors based on the high reviews here. They "diagnosed" the problem as loose belts and sent me on my way. I drove away and my car immediately died. I had to tow the car back and they decided a new starter must be replaced; I was charged for the tow as this was a "new" problem. Times are tough and businesses should stand behind their work. I will never return to this establishment.

Living in Miami my entire life, I never found a mechanic that I could completely trust to perform any and all maintenance and repair on all of my 4 vehicles (2 Chevys, a BMW, and an Audi). I finally found a mechanic I can completely trust with all of them.The repairs and estimates always come out much cheaper than the dealer. They show me all of my parts when the repair has been completed (no more phantom "brake" jobs). Most importantly, they always inform me of exactly what needs to be done, and allow me to choose what repairs I want to move forward with. No pushy sales pitch, just honesty. In Miami, that's something very rare and I'm glad I've found my repair shop for life.

Malik Motors is where I take all of my vehicles for service and have been for years. The owner, Barry, has always treated me fairly and is straight forward with the repairs that need to be done. Unlike other places in Miami, there is no pressure to do the work, he lays out all of the work the car needs and allows me to choose what to do at the time. All of the employees are top notch and professional. The shop foreman, Sergio, is always courteous and polite. I would recommend them to any new people in the area looking for an honest mechanic (rare in these parts).

Malik Motors is owner operated. Never did additional repairs without calling first. Never did unnecessary repairs. Advised against major engine repair for my 11 yr old car. When I bought my new car, traded old car for oil changes. The car is still running. He did not do major engine repair for himself because it wasn't worth it. Honest. I trust him. The best mechanic I've ever had!
