The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ immunization website, Immunization for Women, is an excellent resource for both health care providers and patients. Maitri Health Care for Women recommends Seasonal Flu Vaccines and will be offering Flucelvax from Novartis for the upcoming Flu season. Gynecology
For young women, a first gynecologic exam is a rite of passage. It can also be very frightening. We offer a gentle and easy first exam, with a tremendous amount of education about normal gynecology and sexuality.
Obstetrics
Maitri Health Care is a group of female health care practitioners united in 2003 to create a comprehensive, compassionate obstetrics and gynecology practice for women of all ages. We are accepting new patients for both Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Labor and Delivery
We have had waterbirths. We have had cesareans. We have breast fed our babies. We have experienced postpartum depression. We have had pregnancy complications. We know what it is like to walk through pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood. While each woman experiences these things differently, we care for you with the empathy that comes from being mothers, the compassion that comes from being human, and the skill that comes from being trained obstetrical/midwifery providers.

Maitri arrived at Eastern View Integrative Medicine when the building first opened in June 2008. At this center, the Maitri providers work with practitioners of many different disciplines including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage, Hypnotherapy, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Naturopathy, and more to help individuals and families thrive. By collaborating with the other practitioners in the building, we are able to offer our clients better, more holistic, and more successful treatment for a variety of issues. Minimally Invasive Surgery
We offer annual gynecologic services for routine health care for women of any age. We also offer consults for gynecologic problems such as heavy or prolonged bleeding, pain with sex, cyclic pelvic pain, lack of bleeding, menopause symptoms, and abnormal pap smear care. We help tailor specific care plans to match with a patient’s needs and wants, offering an array of options and helping a woman decide what is best for her. As part of this we offer a spectrum of care ranging from low intervention medical management to more intermediate intervention such as minimally invasive surgery. The doctors in the practice perform their own ultrasounds so that visits can be comprehensive in understanding exactly what is causing the problem and finding the best solution for solving.
