Joy Teriyaki

The original owners of the Joy Teriyaki in Silverdale also opened up the Joy Teriyaki in Bremerton, but sold the first restaurant in Silverdale to a new, lovely Korean couple over 5 years ago. Then the original owners opened up Angel's Buffet, but recently sold the second Joy Teriyaki to another Korean couple last year, 2007. Later on that year, the original owners sold Angel's Buffet as well and opened up a smaller kitchen in the Shell gasoline station on Ridgetop Ave, Silverdale.



The first Joy Teriyaki has stood over 10 strong years. It was remodeled March, 2007 and changed the menu on September. Today (2008) it's Joy Teriyaki & Chinese. Since the teriyaki burger was not in high demand, the new owners replaced it with over ten new, deluctable dishes. The most popular are Chicken & Beef teriyaki, Mongolian Beef, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and its tasty Kalbi Ribs. Joy Teriyaki is also mostly known for its infamous homemade salad dressing. Many regular customers use this dressing as an extra topping on everything besides the salad.



I've worked in this wonderful restaurant for over a year and a half now, and I'm proud to agree with what's printed on our menu: "The Best Teriyaki in Town"

While this is the original Joy Teriyaki, the original owner has gone to own Bremerton Location Joy Teriyaki and later moved on to Angel Buffet. Current owners have kept up the quality of its food and maintain reasonable priced Korean and Japanese Cuisines.
