Purrfect Cat Boarding

We have been bringing our cats to Marla and Jeff at Puurfect Cat Boarding in Shoreline for13 years. We wouldn't trust anyone else!The service is excellent and our cats receive wonderful attention, as well as their specific needs are always taken care of immediately. The cattery is extremely clean and I never have to worry about my kitties once they arrive at Puurfect Cat Boarding. I went on vacation in August last year for 10 days and used this boarding facility to board my kitty. The staff was extremely accommodating, the cage and facility was clean and organized, the playroom and toys is huge, they took Sheba out daily and played with her. The price was great ($16/day) compared to other local options like cat hotel. This a great value in the Seattle area for cat boarding short or long term. I will use them again for this year's vacation as a safe comfortable place for Sheba to hang out for a week.

This woman took on my cats for a flat fee for a week. She had the cats for 3 days and charged me 2/3 of the price that we agreed on. Then she chiseled even more money for taking one of the cats to the vet (I paid the vet bill), and other "service fees" until I ended up paying more for 3 days than I would have for the entire week. I would never board my cat there, ever, ever again. I noticed that the other cats that were there did not seem happy at all. She had one stuffed in a small room all alone in the dark. She only cares about the money and not about the animals at all. There are no thumbs up here at all.

I used to have a pet-sitter come to my home to watch my cats while I was away, thinking they would be happier. But I soon found that I was uncomfortable with a stranger in my home and the kitties were still very upset when I came back. Now I drop them off to stay with Jeff and Marla and I never have to worry because I know they care for them as they would their own animals! They get to come out and play during the day or simply sit in the window and watch the birds and such (a favorite kitty activity!). They come home relaxed and happy and I don't feel guilty about going away! I'll never board them at a vet's office again.

My cat has been there numerous times and each time he gets more comfortable. They are caring and I trust them to take care of my not-always-friendly-to-strangers cat. He is on medication as well and I appreciate that they don't charge extra for that. It's so much better than a stinky, scary vet's boarding facility.
