My friend just had a bad experience with this company. they claim to put your roof on in a day, 2 weeks later (4 days on the job) the roof is finally done, I guess when you hire a company that hires subcontractors, you don't know what you are in for, roof looks good, but 2 weeks?

Just had my roof and gutters replaced by Ridgecon. The roofing crew did a fantastic job! They were on time, in and out, and cleaned up like they were never here. I would recommend Ridgecon to my mom. They came as a referral to me, and I would gladly do the same. I did have a small issue with my gutter installation, but Tony went out of his way to make sure the issue was resolved. 110% happy. Will come back to Ridgecon for future exterior improvements.

My wife and I have owned our New built home for 13 years. Being frustrated about needing a new roof at this time, also the fact I didn’t have any knowledge about all the roof components. I was forced to do as much research online and learning as much as I could.



I had 4 other estimates and none of them had sat down at our table and explained the process like Jay did. The just called and said they came out, and then gave the price over the phone.



When I interviewed Ridgecon construction for the job, Jay had his sales tool, and I had all my research tools. He answered all my questions correctly to my satisfaction. The rest was all about trust.



I signed up for the job with a new complete GAF roof system with Ridgecon.



Our new roof system that included the “GAF Weathered Wood HD Shingles” has now been installed almost two weeks ago. I am completely satisfied and have full confidence if any problems arise in the future, Ridgecon will be there to stand behind their work.



Communication was very good through out the company. Scott the Forman was very polite and informative. The crew did a great job and was very courteous.



My house is a split level, 2800 square foot. They showed right at sunrise and were gone at 4:30-5:00pm same day. I even noticed the ones that smoked, went to the sidewalk and disposed of their filter, no extra litter!

I had the roof replaced on my house by Ridgecon Construction and I was more than happy with the outcome and the whole process. I did some research, got a few quotes and I decided to go with Ridgecon based on reviews, references and materials.
Jay is very professional and knowledgeable and will guide you through the whole roofing replacement process. He will explain to you the differences between many types of materials that you can pick for your new roof (underlayment, shingles, vents) and you will want to know this.
They had an opening sooner than I expected and since the weather was beautiful I decided to do it that day.
The crew for tear down arrived early in the morning and got the roof deck clean in just a few hours. After they got done they cleaned up real well. I did not find a single nail in the grass.
The roofing crew started right after that and let me tell you that this crew is one of the most professional crews that you can find. After they did an excellent job on the roof they cleaned the gutters, got everything off the roof and all went around the house picking up everything that was left. They were done with everything by 3:30 pm and I am really happy with the new roof.
They will give you a free quote and believe me you won't be disappointed.

we recived quotes form 3 roofing companys. After we had everything in front of us we tried to give ridgcon a chance to compare apples to apples. They where not the least expenceive and seemed to shot cut in a few places. we ask of some things they felt where not needed but i felt they where thas when the owner became rude and condescending toward me and my wife. so unprofessional whold never refer them to anyone

We got quotes from several different area contractors and Ridgecon was the best price. I felt comfortable with the fact that they have an A+ rating with the BBB and have been in business since 1994. Jay was knowledgable, courteous, and personable. The crew was efficient and did a fabulous job with clean-up. We're very happy with our new roof and feel confident that Ridgecon did a quality job.

Ridgecon did a great job. We were highly impressed not only at the quality, but the speed at which they completed the work. Many of our neighbors commented that they couldn't believe how fast the old roof came off, and the new one went up! And finally, the clean up was great. One would not have even been able to tell the crew was there after the completion of the job because they were so good.

From start to finish, Ridgecon was courteous and professional and answered all of my questions right away! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a new roof.

Ironically Ridgecon was the first company that made a proposal to us and ultimately the one we chose in the end. I say in the end because it was an eye opening and arduous journey to sift through the various other companies that would be flattered to be considered as "competition". Ridgecon is head and shoulders above the other 6 companies who made their proposal. They are clearly the most professional, most equipped to handle what is a major home project. What is key is their differentiation from the competition.

1) Offer financing, although we didn't require it. It is a major plus.

2) They have a valid business address and building. Check the others, you would be surprised on some well-known companies operating on a shoestring that you’re considering giving major dollars to, who may leave town.

3) Philanthropic-"no roof left behind" program for the less than fortunate. Unusual in this industry.

4) Jay is a knowledgeable professional that leads his team and they execute their work like a symphony. Management and hourly work together, vehicles and supplies are all coordinated perfectly.

5) Utilize the highest grade mechanical units in the industry. The "gladiator" is a versatile unit that can be positioned almost anywhere on your property without occurring damage to safely dispose of the shingle tear off.

*My neighbors can attest for me just as well, who witnessed this amazing process all completed as specified in one day.

Disappointed in the run around we received. Staff should not be in and out of our house constantly using our bathroom. Wish we would have went with the first company that quoted us. Live and learn I suppose.

I just cannot say enough good things about Jay and his team. Jay was very thorough on his inspection and honest about what was needed to make the necessary repairs to our roof. Ridgecon was able to accomplish in one repair what others could not do in several attempts. I am thrilled to have my kitchen back in order. Ridgecon will definitely be my first call for roof needs in the future.

Need a new roof? Look no further! Ridgecon was extremely professional and hard-working. We had just moved in to our house and we realized it was in need of a new roof. With a leaky garage and a raggedy look to the roof we called Ridgecon. Thanks to the friendly and skilled crew we no longer have to worry about leaks. They were really fast and thorough. And the roof has looked great since we had it replaced. They are very friendly and make you feel at ease knowing you made a right choice, and when the roof is done you see the results for your self. Ridgecon is the way to go if you are in need of a new roof.

Don't listen to that bottom review. Ridgecon is absolute top-quality in every aspect of their business. I recently hired Ridgecon to roof my home and I could not be happier. The Ridgecon crew is nothing like your typical construction crew. When I walk my kids through my neighborhood and I see construction crews working on homes, I almost always have to cover my ears because of yelling and bad language; however, this is not the case with Ridgecon. Each and every crew member was extremely nice and caring, not only to me, but to one another as well. I've never seen such a respectable crew! And when the owners came to collect the money, they were extremely nice. They acknowledged me as a person and took the time to get to know me. I guarantee no other crew would do anything like that.



Now for Ridgecon's quality....I have one word for you...."UNBEATABLE!!!!" Ridgecon came to my house, tore off my old roof, installed my new roof, and cleaned up the debris almost in the blink of an eye! They have a giant machine that drives around the perimeter of your house to catch all the old shingles. This ensures that no shingles will fall or damage anything on your lawn. And on top of that, they put down plywood and tarps to cover all your windows and shrubs! When they were finished cleaning, I swear my yard was cleaner than when they got there. It's unbelievable! The best part is that each roofer on the crew is highly experienced and certified, so I had no worries. I knew they were going to do a great job, and I was right. My new roof looks beautiful and it is leak-free. I could not complain about this crew if you paid me. If you need a new roof fast, I HIGHLY recommend Ridgecon.



BEST CREW EVER!!!!!!

After the tornado came out to visit our Sub in Clinton Twp that day in 2010 Matt from Ridgecon came out after my call. He had the roof replaced promptly after the approval from my Insurance Carrier. One crew came out for the removal of the current roof placing all remnants in a large dumpster they brought with them. About an hour later the 2nd crew came out and installed the new roof expertly and efficiently. I was very impressed with how quickly and thorough the crews were. When they were completed they removed the dumpster as well. Besides the cool groovy new roof, there was no way someone could tell that two crews had been there working earlier that day. I would recommend Ridgecon Construction to anyone looking to get a roof repaired or replaced!

I felt compelled to write a review for Ridgecon because I too had the comp;any do two roofs for me and the personal care and excellent job quality I received from my first roof was the reason i had them do the roof for my new home. From the beginning, Deanna taking my information, Matt giving me an estimate (not trying to sell me more than i needed especially with me being a single woman and sole breadwinner of my family) till the completed job, was very professional and very clean. Always with a smile and determined to get the job done when promised. The owners, Matt and Jay took the time to come themselves and make sure that the job was done correctly and that their crew was professional and treat your property as if it were their own. I would highly recommend them and I have time and time again and always get a Thank you for recommending them. Their business practice is and always was above board and honest.

We love our new roof, installed in the fall of 2010. Everything went smoothly, we were treated professionally and courteously. We were given plenty of options on our payment, we were informed of the process along the way, everything was kept neat, tidy and safe. Communications with everyone involved were top notch. We would highly recommend this company to our friends.

We have had two roofs done by Ridgecon in the past 4 years (old home and new home). First time Jay the owner was very pleasant and was on the job the entire time. Seems that they have grown a bit and lost their customer service skills. Jay came to give the quote on the new home and was very pleasant then the day my roof was done he sent his brother to "collect" 3-4 hours BEFORE the roof was complete. The brother was very rude to myself and my in laws who were there. Did not aknowledge us just demanded payment...CASH ONLY! This was never discussed at the time of estimate or negotiations. Dont be fooled by the offers of "other payments" on the web site. (I had the cash but wanted to use my charge for the points) After dealing with the owners brother Matt I have decided others should be aware of the "good cop bad cop" tactics they perform. The only reason I am not giving one star is because the crew working on my home was very curtious and did a good job on my roof. Its sad that one encounter can ruin your opinion of a company. Customer service is very important to me. Good Luck on your roofing purchase!!
