Mobeta Shoes

I went to this man to ask him to help me repair my favorite pair of boots. It's a long story what happened to my boots, but basically, I had asked him to undo the leather around the sides and re-glue it to make the boot larger (it had been tightened to a size that was too small for me by a different cobbler when he replaced the sole). This man, completely on his own initiative, took a chisel and carved a pothole in the bottom rubber insole of my boot. That was his idea of how to make it larger again, I guess, or something. By the time we were done I just wanted to get the heck out of his shop. I got the sole replaced again elsewhere but my boots are still too small. :( Still got 'em in my cupboard waiting for the day when someone else can fix them.



I think this man is deranged and absolutely can not recommend that anyone trust him with a pair of shoes.
