I am a twin engine comercial pilot who likes to getaway using my plane, anywhere on weekends within 2 hours flying time from NYC. Their Upstate New York Adirondack Park private airport was a real gem and worth the trip. I would have prefered there being an FBO but I can see that they wanted to keep the place more of a mountain retreat and not a formal "airport".



If you are a pilot looking for places to fly, look for their logo on private fields/ariparks, it's definitiely worth the time. And for a change, I wasn't concerned getting in or out of the airfield, it was in the condition as advertised, and even had Internet based field cameras and lvie weather stations so that I could know what i was getting into before arriving!

It's not easy to blend a first class private airport with a true mountian experience, but this company manages to make it works eemlessly. Top notch, well appointed paved facilities complete with VASI/PAPI, yet when on the ground and out of the plane you forget about the airfield and are immersed in the mountain experience.



Many similar developers tend to lose a bit of the wild mountain experience through their over developing, but these guys really know how to make the two come together. I frequent their fields regularly with my family and couldn't be happer with the work they did on my own project (identifier NY17).
