Ohaver Plumbing

The Vidorra concierge scheduled us for an appointment with O'Haver Plumbing, Ltd, to fix an issue at the unit we're renting (faulty pressure balancing valve on a shower we had never used before). First, we were unknowingly charged a $39 trip charge for a job that is 20 miles from their office in the same city. I understand the trip charge if you're charging for coming out and no work is completed, but if you're charging $89/hour for the repair and an additional $65 for the material, seems throwing a trip charge on top of the work is unnecessarily padding the margins - you're a business, get a good accountant who understands vehicle depreciation or mileage expenses. Second, they do not accept credit cards (I get it - they don't want to pay 3% for having a merchant account affiliated with each credit card they process - it would be nice though for the customer to know ahead of time). Finally, their website is not functional to voice a complaint to them directly, so this is my alternative. The repair was done correctly, so two stars are warranted in that regards, however it very well could have been a five star rating if these other issues didn't exist.
