Read my FULL Google review (#21 from the bottom up) of Google reviews. This review shortened per YP's 1000 character limit.
Trusted them with 2 of my cars. Disappointed me each time. Car #1: Paint overspray caused runny, drippy look and orange-peel effect on the bumper. Completion dates repeatedly extended. Supervisor Jim Blevins = the nicest guy + a smooth talker- makes promises you WANT to hear--doesn't deliver on any promises. Car #2: Parts delivery dates repeatedly extended...2 months to complete causing additional 1 month car rental. Took car home for a week--discovered they installed USED parts (which had worn down so badly that wheel could have fallen off at any moment (including the wheel, rotor & brake caliper). Was immediately deemed unsafe to drive. Lack of communication between supervisors Jim & Paul, an obvious BEEF with each other, very unorganized, inferior parts used, many delays and promises. DO NOT USE THEM - EVEN IF YOU'RE DESPERATE AND OTHER SHOPS ARE BOOKED UP.

Terrible service overall, I would highly recommend you not taking your vehicle here to get repaired. As mentioned by other reviewers, they never call you even if you leave countless amount of messages, they never know what the status of your vehicle is unless you speak directly to your service provider which is already difficult, They take forever (I brought in my vehicle to the the rear side door replaced and has taken several months because of "Issues" which have been fixed and examined from the beginning, now I have to waste my time coming in every other week just for them to say they haven't fixed the issue) and they don't seem to care.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!
They have the worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with! Jim, my service writer, makes promises that he has no intentions of keeping. I had to keep calling for updates on my car because they would not call me with updates even though I was told that I would be updated every few days! Jim would promise my car would be ready on a certain day, but of course it was not. This has happened 3 times so far ( still waiting). When I asked tosupervisor, Jim said he quit, but the office girl would always say he was not there or with a customer. The supervisor, Paul, told me on the day my car was taken to this shop, that he would "take care of me, not to worry." Of course this was another lie, no one at this shop seems to care how they treat their customers.
This shop is on the list that the city of San Antonio has wreckers take your car to when you have an accident. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR TAKEN TO THIS SHOP!

This is the worst business I have ever encountered. The tow truck driver said he could only tow my car to body Tec. after my wreck.My car was placed in their possession March 6. After 2 months of calling and calling we never got response about our vehicle. We were always given the run around. Gus never calls you back. You cannot reach the owner ever. after 2 months I got a call from Enterprise that they were charging me 400.00 since my car had been ready 10 days ago.. I was never notified it was ready at all. I was on the phone at the same time the rental company verified Gus said it was ready.He says he didn't recall saying the car was ready. I went to pick up my car but Gus would not release it, he said it's in the back and he needs to clean it. We went back again two days later and we were told the car wasn't ready. Body tec kept my car 3 more weeks. They were still working on it! I was out of 400.00 ,no rental and no car. I didn't get my car back until the 1st of June. Disgraceful

My car got towed here after a car accident. I wanted my car moved out of this shop to a place closer to my house. When my body shop sent a tow truck to get it from their shop, they refused to accept credit card to pay for the fees. They said they only deal with cash or check only and refused to release my car. So may insurance adjuster called to try and resolve it. She was on hold for quite a long time and spoke with several people. One person told her they didn't gave a credit card machine and another told her their machine was broken. Another person told her they have a machine, but only use it for their customers that they are fixing their cars for. This went on for 4 days. They continued to refuse credit card payment. I had to personally go there myself. I saw stickers on their door that they accepted Visa, Mastercard, Discover. When I went inside I saw them using it the credit card machine. I explained to them what has transpired over the past few days and that my car has been held hostage. They gave in to save face with the other customers that were there listening. I don't recommend this place at all. If I can give zero I would. How do they keep track of the cash or personal checks and pay taxes for it? Seems like a questionable practice to me.

DISHONEST, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We sent a customer's vehicle to Body Tec for repairs after one of our employees dented it. The other posts below are accurate - awful service, dishonest, and the owner, Mr Beto Rodriguez, refuses to accpet or return any of our calls. We caught them trying to run up the bill, and then got several more calls from the customer when he went to pick up his Silverado from them. They claimed they couldn't release it to him because of us - but they were actually still buffing the vehicle and just didn't want to tell him the truth, that it wasn't ready. Stupid lies. Then, after customer drove the car for a few hours, he calls us and tells us Body Tec broke his power locks and there's now a rattle in the door from something they forget to reconnect. It's been nearly THREE WEEKS and they still haven't gotten his vehicle back to him. Truck is now at Tom Benson Chevrolet to be fixed correctly. Owner from Body Tec has still not returned any of my five phone calls. We'll never use them again or recommend them to anyone. F-

Worse place I've ever been. Owner refuses to return my phone calls that I've made every single day for 2weeks. None of the management is man enough to take responsibility for any of our horrible in counters here! Terrible place of business!

Best Service Provider in San Antonio

We took our vehical here after another service provider found items wrong...ie: Air conditioning hose bad...defective brakes...etc. Our insurance company recommended us to take the car here since the problem was caused from a prior accident and we didnt want to go to the original provider. Body Tec analyzed the problem and found that the hose was not the problem...as a matter of fact...there was no problem. They filled the Airconditioner up with freon and gave the car a good check over and returned the vehical back to us.



Only problem found...No Freon.



GREAT JOB to an outstanding San Antonio Company for Honesty and Customer Service.
