Assure Vet Animal Hospital in San Antonio was established in March 1996. Since then our staff has been providing excellent veterinarian medicine and compassionate pet care. We strive to make each visit for your pet to be worry free as possible working with you to provide the best care at a great value. Assure Vet Animal Hospital is a full service clinic whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality , compassionate veterinary care in a welcoming, informative and supportive service for pets and clients. Our 4500 sqft state of the art hospital provides unparalleled medical services with top of the line equipment, capable of providing laboratory results in less than 15 minutes. This gives us the ability to provide your animal with on site rapid diagnosis to enable us to treat your pet in the quickest and most accurate way possible. This saves the customer on high lab test costs, and reduces lengthy doctor visits. With the space to provide separate observation areas, this allows us to give consistent and constant supervision of the hospitalized animal in a quiet and and stress free environment leading to quicker adjustments in care and faster recovery. This one stop shop mentality extends to our comprehensive pharmacy with every medication needed on hand to medicate the most common problems your dog, cat, or pet may face. This includes osteoarthritis, gastrointestinal, infectious, and dermatological diseases. We have a two table surgical suite with the capabilities to perform spays and neuters to more involved surgeries including tumors, cancers, or broken bones. Assure Vet's dental services encompass cleanings, extractions, and the often overlooked post dental sealing, because poor oral hygiene can contribute to infections leading to tooth loss, heart disease, kidney failure, and liver complications. In addition, we also have on site X-ray radiology and analysis for pinpoint discovery of damaged bones or internal organ issues. We have large, 6 foot long, inside runs included in a roomy air conditioned and heated area with various size kennels to accommodate the special needs of your boarding dog or cat. We have separate dog and cat facilities, featuring cat condos on request with a fun play room for your feline friend to relax in the sun. There are 3 outside yards to allow your dogs ample area to run, play and eliminate. Knowledgeable nursing staff are present to feed, clean, exercise, love and medicate each animal individually based on their needs. We have special handling availability for pets with behavioral problems such as storm phobias, pet aggression, escape artists, and medical issues. Our prices start with a standard cost based on size with medication and special handling charges added for those who need them keeping the base cost lower for pets that don't.
