Alamo Dentists

Dr. Mai is wonderful with my two kids, ages 10 and 6. She's very patient with my children. The staff has always returned my calls and has helped with insurance claims. My daughter was actually giggling while having a cavity fixed and ends her visits with a hug for Dr. Mai.

This dental office is a JOKE. First of all, the staff has an average age of 18 1/2 which leads me to believe that they are hired not for experience, but for the lack of money that they demand. I was getting a filling done and the tech didn't have a clue what to do or what to give the so called dentist. The building is no bigger than a decent size condo. It is very hot and cramped with noise from the Punjabi cafe next door. Now on to the dentist. Dr. Mai has to be one of the worst dentists alive. She makes you look at their work in a mirror and is pushy. Her English is hardly understandable. I just had some work done and after the fillings were placed, my bite was never readjusted. So when I ate, it hurt my teeth because I was hitting the filling improperly. I went to a new dentist and he discovered the problem within seconds. My other filling became infected and I am now in need of a root canal from the severe pain. The office does not return calls either nor does it have an emergency#
