Louie's Pizza

I must say it is quite disappointing when you have talked up a place of business to someone so much and end up with your foot in your mouth. For months now I have been telling my fiancée how delicious Louie's Pizza is and that he should really give it a chance. He is a Bionde's lover (as am I) but I encouraged him that Louie's is just as good if not better at times. Finally to no avail he entrusted me and decided last night that he would take my suggestion.







Now let me just start this by saying that I have eaten at many restaurants and have had problems with my food. I am sure many of you readers have had the same problem. What do you do when you have a problem with the way something is cooked? You complain to the manager or owner, in which they would then either replace your food, or not charge you for what you ordered. Not only is this practice standard for many restaurant owners, it is also quite standard in any food service company.







Let me share my experience... Last night we placed an order for 4 lbs of wings, along with pizza and potato wedges. We have UFC fight nights at our house once every two to four weeks, so this is quite a regular thing we do. My fiancée specifically asked for the wings to be cooked extra and to make sure that they were 'not soggy'. After getting our order we come to find out that the wings are a complete and utter soggy mess. The wings that had sauce were sitting in pools of juices, and the wings that had no sauce on them at all were mushy as well. No crispness to the wings at all! So of course we call to make our complaint.







The conversation that took place was as nice as it could be. My fiancée spoke with a couple of people until we got to a manager, and then of course the conversation with the manager didn't go anywhere either. I took over the phone call and come to find that Louie's pizza had no intention of satisfying their customer at all. They refused to send out more wings, and even then refused to reimburse us for half of the order. We only asked for them to replace 2 lbs of the wings, feeling that would be more acceptable. In the end Louie's Pizza of Roseville did nothing for our dissatisfaction. What to do next? We call the owner.







After speaking with the owner, Jeremy, he told me that again there was nothing he could do. That his establishment felt that they lived up to their end of the deal, and that we should have been satisfied. Knowing full well that we were not satisfied I again asked for him to either a.) replace the product and resend them out or b.) reimburse us for our unsatisfactory uneaten meal. The owner then told me the best he could do for me was to credit my account $10, which would not even touch the sixty dollars that we spent at their pizzeria. Knowing now that Louie's has no intentions of making quality products, nor do they care to keep their customers happy, I surely will not be spending any of our hard earned money at their operation. Nor do I suggest any of YOU to either.







End result? If you want good quality pizza and wings, you should definitely not go to Louie's Pizza of Roseville.
