Overall

Rome police departments mission statement sounds good and It's imperative officers establish good strong ties, where community feel they can count on them to smooth over alterations. My step daughter is 9. There are constantly threats to her safety, and when police are contacted, they do nothing. A boy was trying to hug my step daughters friend, who didn't wish to return his affections. My stepdaughter told him to leave her friend alone. The boy initiated a fight ( he's older), Police came, claimed it was mutual combat, didn't address that the boy was initiating unwanted advances, and left without even talking to the boys parents.

This gave the boy the green light, got his sister to come back. Police were called again, did nothing and just left. It's common sense to speak to the parent of the violent boy. now the situation has escalated. I will be contacting the governor, and media. Do your jobs, make that mission statement truth!
