I was to meet with dr. Considine. I sat down with a rude staff receptionist who explained about being "kicked out of the practice" if I would have a say about choosing for my soon to be baby's health. She continued to talk about the extra charges for canceling appointments and added "good luck finding a school for your child" (she was not even born and this lady decided her unhealthy future). So I decided to "fire" them and not waste my time with the doctor working in a practice where they start with "threats" for my unborn child. I was treated like a felon for wanting the best of health for my baby who was not even born. I would suggest this practice some communication training, listening skills, caring for the individual, mutual respect, nutritional training, and up to date facts on legal rights. I am also thankful for having met their rude staff . Because I left, I have found a wonderful pediatrician who we rarely see because we are so healthy and nothing was ever denied to us respectful citizens in a free country where our lives should matter the most. I hope parents will educate themselves about their health and their kids and never allow intimidation and lies and learn to hire knowledgeable caring doctors instead of being fired by them.

Kidz1st is a great facility with accommodating hours and friendly staff. Not only do they have walk-in morning appointments but also an on call provider after hours. They also have a phone nurse during day hours and are helpful in answering many questions. Recently remolded. I like that they have separate waiting rooms for well and sick children. Would highly recommend!

I have had my kids at several pediatricians as we have moved several times. This is the first place that actually performs thorough physicals. When I leave after an appointment, I am confident my child is healthy because they cover all aspects of health. Their hours are amazing and I appreciate being able to reach a nurse by phone for medical advice. Thankfully moving is over- I can keep my kids here until they are adults!

We went here for one well child visit. My child has a life long, chronic illness which we did NOT see them for (he has specialist for this). They charged us for the well child visit AND a visit for his disease. I called when I got the bill and they said they will always double charge us due to our son's disease, whether they treat it or not. They scam families of children with chronic disease by doing this (insurance companies too by billing twice). Completely unethical. Do not go here.

I love Kidz1st Pediatrics! I have confidence in their recommendations and trust them completely with my young children. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I can always get an appointment the same day when my children are sick. They listen to my concerns. I would never take my children to any other practice.

Kidz1st is a great pediatric office. You can get in the same day when your kids are sick and sometimes even for a physical. Since I have one son with a chronic condition - it's nice they have a lab right there for simple blood & urine tests. I really like that they give out free books to all kids too.

After misdiagnosing my children twice one of which my daughter had pneumonia. I decided to leave Kids 1st pediatrics. On my last visit they allowed me to sit there for two hours and towards the end of the visit proceeded to tell me that they were out of all three of the vaccines that I was there for. This could have easily been explained to me on the phone. I would have rescheduled instead of chasing a toddler around a doctors office FOR 2 HOURS. Their sick and well room are not separate and Almost every time I left their office I felt like I needed a second opinion. When I finally decided to leave I called and asked them to get my children's records together for me to pick up. A WEEK LATER they call me and told me that they want to charge me $15 a page for my records. Keep in mind I frequent the office on a regular basis of 2 times a week. At $ 108 a visit. Which was always paid. I'm sharing this so no one else has to waste their time with this pediatric office. Every parent wants the best care for their child and you will not receive it here.

We have been going to Kidz 1st for 11 years and are very happy with this practice. They are very thorough and don't just focus on the physical aspects of health. They also check on the child's development health. I love Dr. Operti and she is great with the kids, asking them about school, books that they have read, etc. When they were younger, she made noises like a bird when she was checking their noses/ears and got the kids laughing. The appointments are a bit long, but since they are only once a year for well visits, I am happy to have them be thorough and make sure my children are doing well. I have never experienced any issues with the front desk staff. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

Very cold cold cold place, esp...

Very cold cold cold place, especially the cashier she sound aggressive. No one smiles or talk to you or your kids, they act like they just want to get rid of you, fake half smiles here and there, it's a business and they are there to make money. Dr Operti barely answers your questions and always looks like she is bored. Dr Mitchell yeahhh! it's the only warm person in there. My 3 kids hated going there. Even the stickers they never propose to your kids wasn't enough anymore to drag them there. I left.

Great Office, Great Staff. Most important, my kids love Dr. Operti

Dr. Operti and staff are very knowledgeable and spend a great deal of time answering questions and giving suggestions. My kids love Dr. Operti and that makes me feel better as a mom knowing they like going to the doctors and are comfortable with the office. Dr. Operti is warm and caring and that’s what makes getting through the exam and shots a lot easier. It’s a kid friendly place with lots of toys, books, and fish tanks to make children relaxed and comfortable…and that’s what it takes to get out of the house sometimes when you are a sick kid! The staff is knowledgeable and knows a great many other doctors in the area for referrals that work with your insurance…so there are no games. I would highly recommend Kidz 1st…and so would my kids!

Cold doctors, can not recommend

I can not recommend this group of doctors. We had Mrs. Opurty as our pediatrcian and we found the doctor was a bit cold, and had a tough time answering questions without making you feel like you were not at liberty to ask so many questions. We also found that they were very quick to judge when it comes to alternative vaccine schedules - there was no flexibility in their opinion. We found Orion Pediatrics to be very kind, helpful, agressive when appropriate and very knowledgeable.
