        The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is the largest full-service sheriff's office in the state of Michigan. It employs a staff of more than 1,200 sworn officers, volunteers and civilians. The office operates a jail and detention center that houses pretrial, presentenced, and county- and state-sentenced prisoners. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office also serves various writs, processes, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. Its patrol services division is comprised of traffic, aviation, K-9, marine, mounted, parks and reserve units. In addition, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office maintains emergency preparedness, training and communication divisions. Headquartered in Pontiac, Mich., the office maintains a substation in Rochester Hills, Mich.

        A very big Thank You to the three Police officers that helped me and my husband Tuesday. These three people were helpful,nice and went beyond the call of duty. Thank You again,you will not be forgotten for the help you gave us. Liz Powers
