Mathnasium The Math Learning Center

I am an incoming freshman at Oakland, and I went to Mathnasium to prepare for my calculus class I felt shaky on. The instructors were paitent and knew their stuff, and after my 8 sessions I felt a lot more confident going into my first semester. So far, their help has paid off, in the first few lectures I had already mastered everything covered.

Starting in 5th grade, we found our son struggling more and more with math. We had tried using an elementary school teacher as a private tutor, however, after working with him for two hours a week in our home for several months we saw no discernable results. At the end of 6th grade, his counselor recommended your business to us to try and help him over the summer. A year later, he has gone from being a C student in math to an A-/B+ student in math. His ADHD issues have long presented struggles in working through complex problems and the extra practice and attention he gets at Mathnasium really helps simplify things for him. For the first time in several years, he has stopped struggling with math homework and has demonstrated strong test scores.

We had been looking for some math help for our 10th grade daughter. She was an okay math student but had always struggled a little. We decided to enroll her in Mathnasium because we wanted her to have a stronger Algebra foundation for Algebra 2 next year. She was skeptical at first since she thought it would be for younger kids, but there was a lot of older kids there too! We immediately started to see her become more confident with her math skills and she enjoyed going for that reason. We would recommend Mathnasium to anyone and our biggest advice would be not to wait!
