Just fabulous! The attention to detail Colleen provided to both my dogs nails was amazing. She did 3 different tools to get them to perfection. They have never been this short and with an older pet who does not run about as much it was a blessing.

We love Colleen! She is the best! We have so much fun; we are exhausted when we get home.

Very upset with the visit that was had at this groomer. I have used them for my two dogs and recommended them to my sister who is in visiting from out of state. My sister was immediately asked when she took her dog in if she was aggressive because of her breed – bull terrier. Which if educated on them you would know that they are not aggressive dogs. After dropping her dog off and coming back in to pick her up my sister was told that her dog could not get her nails painted because her paws had *open pussing, weeping sores and were swollen* The dog has been having allergies from coming to a new state with new weather and she had one sore on her up front left paw. The sore has been being monitored and was in NO WAY an open passing, weeping sore. Also the dog had cold wax spilt on her back when she had ran into my mother while she was pooring old wax that had been cooled into the garbage. The women told my sister she was burned with “hot wax” and was mistreated – but if she was correct in her “diagnosis” she would know the dog had NO singed hair and NO sores from being burned. That was in no way the case and it should not have been insinuated. Finally, the owner felt the need to share her personal preferences with veterinarians and tell my sister that the vet we use – who just a few months ago SAVED our dogs life – misdiagnosed animals and gave her cards to other veterinarians.



I was unhappy with the service so I gave a call back saying I was embarrassed to have recommended the groomer because of how rude she was to my sister. My sister has no kids and her and her husband spoil that dog! When they got the dog as a puppy she had gotten sick prior to them getting her and they spent well over $1,000 to save her. The dog even came in with a sweater on to keep her from getting wet from the rain!!! (Which she put in a bag and told me sister she needed to wash!) Well when I called back I just said I was unhappy that I had recommended them and did not give any names well when I woke up I had a voicemail from the owner telling me that the dog was in serious need of veterinary care and she listed all the problems the dog “had.” OKAY 1. Very unprofessional to leave a voicemail like that you have NO IDEA if you are even speaking about the correct person. 2. The dog was not in need of veterinary care believe me if it was she would have already been seen. 3. When confronted about the way she spoke about our vet she answered saying that the veterinarian was her friend, well I hope that’s not how she speaks about all of her friends! She also said that she did not talk bad about him, but if that was true why would she give my sister other cards to veterinarians! 4. Finally she did not know that the person we were speaking about was my sister and she told me that what I was told by her was untrue!! Sorry but my sister did not lie about what happened, she had NO reason so especially since we had another appointment with our other dog in just a few more weeks.



As a business owner you should never mix personal feelings with business. No person would go in and get a full spa and pay extra for their dog to have their nails painted if they were neglecting their dogs. And if the owner had an issue with the vet we used its NONE of her business. Plus her job is to make the customers happy and she grooms dogs SHE DID NOT GO TO VET SCHOOL, and from the way she seems to treat customers and run her business I do not think she went to business school either!!!!

Colleen is the most sweetest kind hearted person we've ever met. My husband and I have been bringing our babies to her Dog Grooming Salon for years, and we have never been disappointed. Our 3 yr old Shih Tzu "Princeton" he really adores her, and our recent baby 6 mos old "Pree" who is a mixed Jack Russell loves her. She is very gentle with them and caring. She is an excellent Groomer. Colleen's prices are reasonable and very fair. She cares about our babies just as much as we do. We definitely recommend Collen.... Love you, The Browns

Love Depauw! Colleen is a fantastic groomer. I have a Bichon-Shih Zu that absolutely loves her! She does an awesome job. I have referred several friends as well as family of mine! All the employees genuinely care about the dogs. They're treated as if we would be when we go for a day at the spa. You can definitely tell that Colleen loves the animals and does not just see dollar signs when you walk on the door! Their price are very reasonable and I know my dog is in good hands... I won't take my pup any where else!!! Highly recommend :)

Could not be happier with our 5 month Maltese first grooming experience. The care and love she received was by far made this a 5 star visit. Thank you so much Colleen and staff. We can't wait for our next visit. DePaw Place is the best!

The owner is awesome and does most of the work herself! She provides a safe environment and professional service! The salon is very nice inside, there is a puppy play area, individual crates and plenty of toys and treats to keep your four-legged friends happy, safe and looking good!!
