        Our Story:I was working at a big fitness facility with all the machinery and amenities a person could imagine. I witnessed the gym making a lot of money and paying me very little. On top of that, I couldnƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć¢ā€žĀ¢t properly care for and teach my clients that needed the best of me. I saw a need to create a private training studio that could accommodate groups. One of my former clients (Lisa Olson) approached me about how I helped her change her life, & she said if she had to go back and pay every penny of her life savings to feel the way she does about life now; that she would. ItƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć¢ā€žĀ¢d be worth it. In fact she felt so strongly that she wanted prove it, and invest in me and my talents for helping others bring about a healthy change. She wanted to start a fitness business with me! We are building Empowered Recreation, a place for empowering people with the coaching and tools that they need to change themselves for the better. Here at ER people are encouraged to ƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć…ā€œUnleash Your Inner ChampionƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć‚Ā. We have grown every month since the beginning back in November of 2011. We have built a staff of great people who really care about fitness and helping others achieve success in their particular goals. We have a scholarship program, where we pay the way to help a chosen few in need of our services. We do a charity event quarterly and have a lot of fun helping our charity partners such as the Boys and Girls Club of South King County and the Susan G Komen Foundation. We have helped 3 people lose over 65 pounds in only 8 months as well as countless others who have lost their share as well. Our business is the launching pad of many dreams and goals of people who want more out of life and need coaching and accountability to help them achieve success. We aim to grow our business to a large following of ƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć…ā€œEmpowered FamilyƃĀ¢Ć¢ā€šĀ¬Ć‚Ā. A great group of advocates teaching people about living a healthy lifestyle. We want people to be the best that they can be.         I joined Empowered Recreations...

        I joined Empowered Recreations in the middle of August and I can say that it has definitely changed my life. I was one of those people who had memberships to this gym and that gym for years and maybe went once or twice a year. I was never very comfortable working out with the people at those gyms. I joined ER during a living social deal and I fell in love. The staff at ER is the best at what they do and I have been nothing but happy with the service I have gotten. I am more coordinated in the last 3 months than I ever have been. I am now at 13 lbs weight loss and down over 9 inches total. I am gaining muscle as well and I can tell. The trainers there are very good at what they do and they make you feel welcome and loved at every session. If you are struggling with something they will do whatever they can to help you succeed. They want to know your goals and they want to be there every step of the way until you reach those goals. Not only do I get a great workout, but I am making new friends and we all get along. We laugh the whole time and its fun! I will never go to another gym again. If you are ready to see results the right way and do it at a place that is amazing, Empowered Recreations is the place for you!

        Amazing results... In the first month I went down 1 size and 7.5 inches all by showing up 3x a week! Not sure how he does it, but Kenny Mack is incredible! For the first time in years I love pictures of myself!! AND I love moving and working out - I feel better, I can do more and have more energy. I also thought I knew nutrition - I had been dieting my whole life after all...but I learned a lot from Kenny. Great support from Kenny his staff and other members. A safe, comfortable place for those of us who do not 'fit' into gym culture. Major results without the trauma of walking into a gym to work out with perfect bodies who don't get it. The staff is watchful and helps you push yourself past your limits to get results. Focused on individuals, they know what you are capable of and will keep you from pushing yourself too far. I feel safe in their hands and trust them completely. He and his staff really truly care about you - if you make half the effort for yourself!

        Truly Awesome Place!

        My sister bought me a livingsocal deal for Empowered Recreation. I love this place they get better every time I go. It is located in a great location near Ikea and the hours are great for anyone, those who work earlier in the day can go to the night class at 7pm and those who work later have the option of the 5:30am class. They take the time to really get to know you and are more interested in helping you achieve your goals then just collecting money from you. They have you fill out notes at the end of every workout so they can see if you have any injuries or sore spots that way they can help you still get fit and work around and or solve the issues. I have never felt more welcome and taken care of at a work out facility.

        WOW! What a great facility and coach!

        I was looking for a workout facility and physical trainer and I found Empowered Recreation located in Renton. The facility and atmosphere is great and the coach, Kenny, knows my individual limitations and works within them. Since I started working with Kenny I feel great and have more energy and today I feel like a champion!! Great job, Kenny & Chameion!
