Bica's Lock Shop

Closed on new house 3/15/18. Had Bica’s Lockshop come out that same week to quote rekeying the locks and replacing the sliding glass door lock, which was broken and would not lock. 4 total locks, all had different brands. To use same key, two locks+deadbolt needed replaced. Replace/rekey work on 3/30/18 for $204, with them needing to return to fix the sliding glass door lock. The locks he did replace do not turn, the key would break off in the lock before it turn the lock. No problem, I have been patiently waiting since 3/30/18 for them to come out and fix this, as waiting on the sliding glass door lock. The last call he returned he was to call me right back and let me know when the sliding glass door lock would arrive. In that call I said it was ok to wait for the glass lock to arrive and then fix the lock on the same trip, but he insisted on fixing it right away - awesome. He never called back. Never came to fix the lock he installed, never fixed the back door.

No biggie, I thought. I patiently waited for a return call for a few days, then I left a reminder voicemail. No return call. A week later same thing. No return call. 4 unreturned voicemails and 2 months later, I am writing this review. I patiently waited, even without several of my calls not being returned, assuming maybe he/they were in the midst of a difficult time. This would not have bothered me whatsoever. But alas, Bica’s Lockshop will not return my calls, will not come to finish the work nor fix their own work - they just won’t answer the phone or return a call…

Edit: despite the delay they came through - refunded my money and completed the work for free, which is awesome (I do appreciate a good deal over being on time). They have a long and solid history of satisfied customers, including myself on this and other experiences. I would use them again, despite the delay.
