Westerner Motel

Stayed here 3 weeks while working during Hurricane IDA. Owners are super helpful and friendly, went out of there way to find me a room when there were no rooms available within 50 miles. Staff is friendly and trustworthy. This is not a fancy motel but its safe and priced right.

My husband stayed at The Westerner Motel for two and half years while on a job in the Baton Rouge area which is 1900 miles from home. It was important to find a place that could be extended stay and affordable and nice. This motel was being remodeled and under new management so the expectation was low. We were more than impressed. Clean, cozy, convenient, private, free WiFi and cable, secure rooms and entire property on camera, the managers are awesome and staff great.we switched room sizes various times and every room has fridge n microwave and most importantly, it is pet friendly so our dog went with me on visits. All his co workers began staying as well and I go back when in town. Highly recommended for the self sufficient.

I've been staying at the westner for a month and will be here for work for a couple years the staff are nice and the owners are great as well I will be telling my coworkers to stay here as well rooms are nice and clean and they have different size rooms to fit to your needs thanks for having me

Me and my husband was staying at this motel for 8 months and the room was nice and clean. the environment was nice and noise free. the owner's were friendly and kept us like a family and gave us a good discount. we will miss staying at this motel and we will love to visit it again.

My husband and I have been happy staying at this motel. The owners are very friendly and take care of your needs and the rooms are clean. They have been doing a lot of renovating and the motel is looking very nice. I would recommentd this motel to anyone who needs to have a place to stay whether it is short term or long term.Katrina

Stayed here after being stranded in the area due to road closures. It is by far the worst motel I've ever seen. There was No tissue in the bathroom, no running water in shower, no hot water at the sink, sheets were filthy. Also, there are no phones in the rooms so you can't call to complain unless you use your cell phone. I would not recommend this place even if you are as desperate as I was to find lodging.
