Mega Sports

Waited at the counter in the middle of the day for service to look at a weapon for over 5 minutes. Cashier just stared at me and all other associates looked at me and walked away. Horrible customer service and treatment. Going to spend my money someplace else that actually cares about customers.

Employees wear military saluting shirts , However there is no military or law enforcement discount of any kind.......small town loyalty!!!

Do not shop here. Dude was very rude and said I'm not selling you anything in this store. They refused me service because I live in the township of aurora. There is no law against me owning a firearm or purchasing anything as such in Kane county. You guys don't get to make the gun laws you pompous pricks. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

This place is great. It's my go to place and I've purchased over ten handguns from here. Excellent selection and very knowledgable people. I could spend all day looking around this store. I've also noticed that they take very good care of their firearms unlike some
other dealers.

Well I was there today and wanted to buy a gun . There were 4 employees standing there doing nothing and saw me but didn't even say hi or anything really horrible service . One of the employees there said to the other one these customers are not gonna buy shit so don't help them . Fucking fat ass bitch punk made me mad as fuck . He was wearing a blue addidas hoodie I will report this to everybody .. lazy fucks and not helpful .. shame for a store close to naperville area . Now I will never buy there nor will any of my friends and family members .

I've bought several fire arms there. I do agree that these people are highly racist but they do have the best selection and which is why I choose to deal with the bad attitude and poor customer service.

Racist... I have a good and my state I'd. I was told that I need a water bill to buy a guy. I called the store later and asked what identification I needed and was told" driver's license or state ID and foo. Racist

I just a gun from mega sports a few days ago. My salesman was kris. It was a great experience. He was patient with me and made sure i understood the basics. Being that this was my first gun purchase this was great

I have been visiting this shop regularly for around two years. All I can say is that I have never once waited an excessive amount of time for service or ever left without having all of my questions answered and needs met. They always have the firearm I am looking for and always have plenty of ammo. Most of the time I deal with Stewart, I have never felt rushed or unappreciated as a customer even if I am just stopping by to look at something or talk shop. They have earned my business time and time again.

I have worked for, taught classes in and been in hundreds of gun shops across the country. One that always stands out in my mind is to avoid this place. Just keep on driving by and go to Lockport, Aurora, or Lyons. Much better shops there.

Super professional sales team, as a female, I never felt they spoke down to me. I have used the range multiple times and purchased my gun from them. I felt I got the best price around for my purchase. Range is super clean and well observed.



I am always pleasantly greeted when I enter and usually asked 3 or 4 times if I need assistance when I am looking in the pistol cases.



I know they are super cautious as they do not want any trouble with the law.



The only reason I didn't rate 5 is that I feel the range is a bit pricey and you cannot bring your own targets. But again, I understand why... they don't want targets that bring the shots too close to the clip. It can destroy it and ricochet.

Mega CRAP- I Went there today to use the range and it was a complete nightmare. First, they refused to let me use the commercially manufactured Ammo I purchased stating the company that makes it (Freedom Munitions) also make remanufactured Ammo, and they just don't like that, regardless that my box's all said NEW Manufactured and Ammo was pristine. So I agreed to purchase a box of there's under protest but wanting to shoot. Then they asked if I needed targets, I said no I have my own NRA Match targets. Once again they had a problem stating that I had to purchase and use there targets only! So I packed up my stuff and went to Rinks-

Customer service. Sucks there need more people some walk right bye and don't even ask if they can help u.

The worst customer service that I've ever encountered. They take total advantage of the current hysteria and act like you should be glad they even let you in the door. This place is also a total rip off. When I bought my Sig M400 here the guy told me it came with a free case from Sig. When I went to pick it up they changed their story and said sig wasn't giving out cases with M400 any longer. I looked around the store and found them selling the cases that sig was giving to the customer for free. These guys are not friendly to the gun community and I would recommend shopping elsewhere.

Arrogant, rude customer service. Their website advertised they were open until 9 pm, we arrived at 6:50 and were refused entry by an arrogant goon standing guard at the door. Will never step foot in this store as long as I live.

The worst customer service EVER!! Have dealt with the store for many years, and keep making excuses for them--NO MORE. I went in there this week to have my gun safe moved--they needed pictures, drawings and dimensions (never have before when they moved it), I was given a quote for 381.00, I went back the next day, had to do it all again and was told the quote was 600. I asked what changed overnight? Bryan's response was I didn't have a calculator to actually do the quote correctly. I said the price doubled? He said it is what it is. It wasn't what he said as to how he said it. Very arrogant--I advised him that we will take all our business elsewhere, his response was, "you gotta do what you gotta do". He is correct, I know the fact that I was a woman had ALOT to do with it, but we will NEVER go back into that store again. No more excuses for them!!

IDIOT Owners!! I went there to buy a conceal carry gun. He showed me a small Glock. I put it in my pocket (right in front of him) to see how it fit. He said store policy, I can't put it in my pocket NOR holster to see how it fit and how it drew. I said could I talk to a supervisor. He said the same thing! I left without buying a thing. I will never go back. I went to Midwest Guns in Lyons. Got to try everything there. Spent $909 there, They were very very helpful. Phillip Zigulich, Chicago

I recently bought a Beretta Px4 storm sub-compact from Mega sports. After picking it up I went to their range to try it out, from the get go the gun jammed. After shooting 100 rounds through it I took it back to the counter and ask for some help. I was told to take it home and clean it and try shooting a couple hundred more rounds through it. After cleaning and shooting about 500 more round through it the gun still jams at least five out of the ten round magazine. I take the gun back to Mega sports they test fire the gun and the gun jams, they tell me it will be $50.00 to ship it back to Beretta, now that's some real customer service. I spent over $600.00 on a brand new gun and that's all that they can do for you. I understand they didn't make the gun but they sell them and I'm sure they make good money selling them. There customer service stinks. Their employees are not helpful or knowledgeable. Their so called gunsmith Hasn't got a clue on how to fix a gun problem, when you look at his hands and they are as clean as my wife's, theirs your sign this guy doesn't work on guns. I will never step foot in their store again and I will do my best to make sure others know exactly what kind of people your dealing with when you go to Mega sports.

If you want to be treated like a fly on the wall this place is for you. If you are a celebrity and want not to be recognized you will love it here. If you want to be completely ignored come on down. I stopped by (for the last time) looking for a new holster. I was pleased to see they weren’t too busy. I stepped up to the counter to ask for help. The two men were discussing last night’s game. I stood waiting for a moment. No recognition of my existence. So I spoke up asking if they could help me.

The two of them turned and looked at me with such distain you would have thought I had insulted their mother. And it’s that way every time I have ever been there. The employees act as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.

I’ll never darken there doorway again.

I am a former U.S. Marine with two combat tours. I am also a NRA member and an avid gun shooter/ collector. I've been to Mega Sports and the last three times I was there, I was very disappointed with their service. The FOID at the entrance is unnecessary. The poor attitude of the staff is unacceptable. I've compared their prices to other gun shops and they are on the high-end. I don't know who would want to put up with this. I've certainly made up my mind not to give them anymore of my time or money. I've talked to other friends who feel the same way. Please don't take my word for it you can drive down there and find out for yourself. But, look at the complaints from other equally upset folks. Semper Fi!
