Food excellent. Service very good. Nice portions. Very reasonable. Mostly on street parking. Highly recommend.

cute little italian ristorante in the heart of northeast philadelphia. just close your eyes and let the magnificent voice of andrea boccelli whisk you away to the beautiful tuscany region of italy..... tonight was our 2nd dining experience in tuscany and the entree's were still superb. tonight's calamari appetizer was excellent: lightly breaded and perfectly fried to just the correct crispness with a wonderful marinara dipping sauce. the red sauce is very flavorful and makes the taste buds stand on end. the pasta was cooked al dente, perfecto!!!!! the caesar salad was crisp with a brisk dressing that pleased our palates. the chicken gorgonzola was great!!! this byob ristorante has very good food and i highly recommend the waitstaff. both dining experiences with different waitresses gave us consistenly excellent service. why drive to center city for more expensive comparable food and a possible ticket by the ppa when you can dine in the northeast close to home!
