Illinois American Water

The water company dug up my yard in January to do repair work. It's now almost September, and they still haven't repaired the area, forcing people to walk into the busy street. I've called them 1 to 2 times a month asking them to fix this, and my neighbors have called also. They always very politely tell me this is the 1st they have heard about it, and someone will be right out to correct it. At last, they did come on a very rainy day. They used a bobcat to push the mud around, and then parked a truck on the spot. Now I have ruts 6 to 8 inches deep, and have been told someone will call me within 24 hours. It's been 8 days.



We have no option but to use the water company for service. Just don't plan on them ever repairing your yard if they ever do work for you.
