Tonys Deli Restaurant

I have been to Ember's Deli quite a few times. When I moved back to this area with my husband and son we used to walk over to Embers and get a sandwich. Back then it wasnt too bad. A little dirty, but nothing bad. THEN within the last few months I have been there three times. The first time there was a hair in my food. I told the waitstaff and they appologized but when the owner was near me he walked away as to avoid me. He must not like to appologize for anything or something. Then the next time I was given a napkin with dried gum in it. I was SO grossed out. Again the owner would not even make eye contact with me or even apologize for the filth. THEN about two or three weeks ago my mom, son and I figured we would give them another chance. I look down at my hashbrowns and there was a HUGE, GREASY eyebrow hair in my food. The waitress was very nice and apologized but again the owner ignored me. This time I tried to talk to him and he would not even acknowledge me. He just looked the other way and then walked away from me. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER go there again. They may be close but I will travel to get to a better deli ~Bronx Deli on Telegraph is AMAZING~ I am very disappointed in this. I can not even tell you how the food is anymore since the last three times I just could not eat the food because of the problems! I hope no one gets sick from this place!!!! Good luck! :)

Our family cannot find a better deli around. We drive 16 miles each way and still with rising gas prices, you can't beat this place! The sandwiches are true deli style, lean and meaty!!!! The deli appears to be clean. We have patronized this restauranbt for 4 years and have never been disappointed. Great for catering large platters of sandwiches.
