Jackson Millikan was a general contractor and home designer for seventeen years before becoming an attorney. Millikan has practiced in many superior, district, and municipal courts as well as the Washington State Supreme Court, and the Division II Court of Appeals in Tacoma. He is also licensed to practice in the federal court for the Western District of Washington. Millikan clerked for two years in a renowned San Diego civil rights firm, as well as the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and the Washington State Attorney General's Office. He is a member of various Washington State Bar Association sections and the Thurston and Pierce County Bar Associations. On his spare time, Millikan volunteers with the Housing Justice Project and his favorite charity is the food bank. On the civil side, our office is most experienced with real property issues, tenants' rights, civil rights, privacy rights, employees' rights, small business litigation and personal injury. Millikan has also performed various transactional roles like transferring real property, drafting contracts and wills, and forming and merging companies, including in the "i502" recreational marijuana industry. On the criminal side, Millikan has been a contract public defender for years in Pierce County and has had many satisfied private clients as well. Because of our vibrant civil practice, we are able to keep a small criminal case load. This allows Millikan to devote far more time to each case than would a larger criminal defense firm. Our firm is located on a bucolic vineyard in West Olympia near the Evergreen State College. Because we value client confidentiality and privacy, no walk-ins are permitted.
