I contacted the company by em...

I contacted the company by email to make sure they could repair my radio prior to me shipping it to them. "Tony" the service manager, replied that it wouldn't be a problem. I shipped my radio to them Priority mail with insurance. I confirmed through USPS tracking that my radio arrived and was accepted on 5/31/14.

I waited til 6/5/14 to email Tony again, to check the status of my radio, since they companies website claimed a usual 2 day "turn around". Tony stated that the main processor had to be replaced and that it should take a couple more days. I have called, left voice mails, emailed 3 times since 6/12/14 and have yet to get a reply or a return call.

I am now talking with an attorney to see what my next options are.

I DO NOT recommend this company, even though several people have used them in the past with out any problems. Obviously something is going on with the company to be highly recommended but then get treated in this manner.



***UPDATE***

After writing my initial review, Tony finally contacted me. He apologized for the lack of communication and stated that they had "dropped the ball". On Monday morning 6/30/14, Tony called and stated that he had pulled the radio out of his own bike, went through it, function checked it and put a new face plate on it. Tony stated that he was shipping it out to me and that I should get it by Wednesday(today). Tony cut the repair fee almost in half and included the 1 year warranty, plus lifetime discounted repair fees, if needed.

I received the radio today and installed it. It sounds great and looks better than the original.

I appreciate that Tony went the extra mile to correct the lack of communication issue and to prove that Iron Cross is actually a top notch company.
