I am a food critic at a well known magazine. We have had this small take out restaurant on our radar...but have yet scheduled. So off the record I decided to stop in prematurely to see what the rave was all about. Let me tell you..goodbye steak and cheese and hello CHEESESTEAK! This sandwich is night and day from any other sandwich I have tasted throughout Connecticut. Stay tuned New Englanders they have just been bumped up the list!

this place has the most delicious food around this area!!!!!!. the first time i went there i had to try the original philly cheeseteak..the sandwich melts in your mouth..it was so good i went back the same day to bring one home..but instead of getting the cheesesteak i tried the cheesesteak fries..there was a generous amount of meat and cheese and has brought me back every week..i would suggest to anyone to try it out..you wont be let down.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this small diamond in the rough. Now, a lot of places around here claim to have authentic Philly Cheesesteaks but this place here is as authentic as it gets. I happen to be from the City of Brotherly Love myself, so I know exactly how it should be done! The meat that is used to make the steaks is very good quality (not any of that mystery meat) and the rolls make the sandwich for sure. They also have something called panzarotti's, which is like a deep fried pizza pocket. Love them! It's hard to find good quality food at affordable prices but the owner seems to have hit the nail on the head with this spot.

this place knows what they are doing..i lived in Philadelphia for 15 years and moved here 5 years ago for my job. One thing i missed was having a cheese steak from Philly..i go back periodically to visit family and i make sure i eat at Pats a couple of times before i head back to Connecticut. i just want to say how grateful i am that this place opened up because i must say this is better than i ever imagined...maybe even better than back home! keep up the good work Philly's I'm happy to have you so close!!!

I've been hearing wonderful things about this place from many of my friends and co-workers..I am not really a steak and cheese or "cheesesteak" eater but decided to check it out...and let me tell you, this is nothing like i have had before..there really is a difference between a steak and cheese..and a cheesesteak..i will be back there and bring my husband and kids because it truly is one of the best sandwiches ive had in a long time!thanks philly"s..see you soon!
