Overall
What a completely hideous expe...

What a completely hideous experience. The first time I went here, I bought a phone, not the one I was hoping to buy. I was talked into a different one. I inquired about the return policy as I had not done my homework on the phone I was about to purchase since it wasn't the one I planned on purchasing. I still bought the phone as well as a pack of cases, but was ready to return it that night. I had a 14 day return policy, and since I did have to travel a distance to get it, I decided to wait until I had to go to that area again.

I walked in, and the man at the counter named Alex seemed shocked that I was returning a phone. It didn't work correctly and it was more of a headache trying to get it to work than my old phone was! When he took everything out of the box, he told me about the $20 restocking fee, which I was told about, although the contract I signed said $35. Then he said that I could not return the cases I bought, despite being told that everything could be returned within 14 days. I was then told that I would be charged for the box being ripped. Had I ripped the box it'd be one thing, but I didn't even open it. The person I purchased the phone did as she opened it to put in the Sim Card and the memory card that was in my old phone. I brought the phone back with everyone in the bag I came with, including the box. I was told that the worker was trained on how to open boxes and that he didn't believe that she would do that. She did. He said she didn't. I didn’t like being called a liar. The fact that he wouldn't take back the accessories when nothing stated in the contract I had signed was the big issue here. When the woman I was with said, "Are you f-ing kidding me? You won't take back the accessories?" He got very upset and started shouting at us. He said we had to come back when his manager was in. Considering it is a significant distance from my home and I only have 14 days to return (I was on day 5) coming back was not only an inconvenience but close to virtually impossible. We told him that we wanted it fixed today and he continued to shout until I raised my voice slightly, telling him to stop treating me like a third grader. He then took offense to us raising our voices and refused to work with us, despite the fact that he yelled at us first. I told him that we were not told about half the things he was saying, and he brought paper from behind the desk. That should’ve been brought up front from the beginning before I purchased the phone, especially when I asked about the return policy. I asked when his manager got in, he said he was checking the schedule. I told him that was an inconvenience. He shrugged his shoulders and I asked him what he planned to do. He was drawing a paycheck and he worked in retail, so he should be trained to deal with customers. He gave us his managers phone number. Alex then called me "Honey" which was COMPLETELY inappropriate and sexual harassment. I said, "Excuse me?" and my eyes watered up in sheer frustration. I told him not to ever call me honey. He said, "It's my store. I’ll call you want you want." Finally, Alex told us to leave, and then pretended to call nine-one-one on us. We ended up leaving, driving to the store next door and calling the manager that he had given us the phone number to. When we explained to his manager what had gone on, the manager exclaimed, "Alex doesn't know what he's talking about." The manager called Alex to tell him that we could return the things we set out to do. When we got there, Alex was on the phone with the manager saying, "I'm not used to customers breaking down into tears." which I did not do. My eyes did well up AFTER he called me honey in a derogatory way. The manager made him handle the return. Hopefully he saw past his "charm."

Alex didn’t apologize when we left.
