Messrs. Mathes have been, but are not currently, active in supervising private investments. Sorrell Mathes has served as Chairman of the Investment Management Committee of Securitas Capital, an indirect subsidiary of Swiss Reinsurance Company, and as a member of Swiss Re's private equity Investment Committee. Securitas Capital was responsible for approximately $500 million in private equity investments, focusing on the financial intermediary industry worldwide. In fulfilling his obligations, Mr. Mathes advised on private equity investments, both in Venture and Buy-out portfolios of these companies. In addition, he has been a Director of two Swiss Re subsidiaries that acted as fund of funds managers for a number of limited partners, overseeing over $7 billion in buyout and venture capital funds. He also served as a Director of a number of Swiss Re's private portfolio companies.
