We took our car here for timing chains. After 2 weeks we got it back with the check engine light still on. Jason proceeded to put off taking care of it for several weeks. He said to drive it, the light should go off. It did not. Eventually we got him to get it in and he replaced the cam sensors. Two weeks later we picked the car up, supposedly fixed, and within 3 miles of driving the check engine light was back on. After being put off again for several more weeks we just dropped the car off hoping he would get to it quicker if it was in his lot. Yet another 2 weeks passed and he still had not even gotten it in to look at it. By this time 3 months had gone by since the original repair was done. So, tired of being put off we took it to Mcguires Family Auto in Allegheny twp. He got it in within a week and found that the timing chains had not been installed properly. We had him fix the car. After picking it up and paying him for the job, which was $400 less than Jason's bill, I took the bill to Jason. Since he had told me he would stand behind his work 100% if it was something they did wrong. He refused to pay me back. He said I should have had the other garage diagnose it then called him and he would've had it towed back to his garage to complete the repair. I'm sorry but if you botched the job in the first place, then didn't take care of the botched job when the car was brought back to you twice, I don't think I'm coming back to get blown off for another 3 months. Don't use this guy, he is dishonest and does not stand behind his work.
