Well, to all you pizza fans that enjoy standing outside in a line for alleged world class pizza........go ahead. I would go elsewhere.
As an outoftowner and pizza lover - it was shocking to wipe my mouth of BLACK SOOT - more likely black burnt dough particles from the ancient pizza oven. I thought it was slightly disturbing to eat.
SERVICE is crap. Well that word explains the 12 year old who took my togo order. Aftering waiting for a table for one outside, I decided to see if there was a bar to sit at.......well there is a bar, no stools and you have to sit at a table to be served a beer. The young lady taking my order was less than polite, taking my order with the least bit of interest in helping this newcomer. I wanted the sausage - bacon - salami - pepperoni - on my pizza. The pizza I waited on for over 25 minutes came only with sausage!!!
I did not send it back because I needed to continue living my life instead of waisting it away waiting for BLACK SOOT PIZZA.
Surely the others around Frank's would have pizza in a more timely manner.

My expectations were set really high - I'm used to NY pizza - this pizza came burnt and tough - there was one waitress to a huge dining area and she was just overworked. I was dissatisfied. Sorry!

This is where Pizza was invented in 1926. The product
has not been improved upon since. Imitations are widely
available world-wide. Why have the imitation when the
original is available?

This is an addicting pizza. The smell alone is phenomenal. When I'm dieting, I can't go near the place. Favorites are white clam, fresh tomato in the summer, chicken and peppers. Believe it, I like pies built without tomato or mozzarella, just toppings with pecorino romano.
