I needed a taxi on short notice and the internet only gave me 2 options in my fairly small suburban town. One was not answering their phone, so I tried this one.



I was given a 20 minute wait time but I was concerned that wouldn't be fast enough, as I had to get somewhere by a certain time. When I said to put in for it and I'd call him back to cancel if the person I was meeting could not wait, he said "No, I'm not playing games with you." I asked him for other taxi companies in the area and he said something about how they were all going out of business due to people playing games.



After trying to get in touch with a couple other companies and not having any luck, I called him back and said to just send the cab and I would wait. He said "No, I don't think so, I already told you I wasn't playing games" and hung up on me. I had my husband call and he hung up on my husband too.



I'm very sorry my money wasn't green enough for Town Taxi. I needed a cab and would have had to abide by their wait time and would have done it since I had no other choice. Instead I was treated like dirt and hung up on. In the end I saved myself the no-doubt overpriced cab fare and walked the 2+ miles to my destination, in the summer heat and humidity.



I have never been treated so poorly by any business, let alone a small local one. If you need a taxi in Marlborough, MA stay far, far away from this company.
