My experience with Safety King was TOP-NOTCH, start-to-finish. I set up my appointment over the phone with Delora. She was kind, professional, and explained everything perfectly. My technician, Marcus, came out on time, and was VERY respectful and professional. We have 4 cats, and he understood how scary it might be for them. He was extremely patient and understanding, and worked with me to come up with a plan to secure them in certain rooms while he performed his work. We had all of our ducts cleaned out (in advance of a new Furnace/AC installation in a few days.) He kept me in the loop with everything he was doing, including showing me before/ after pics. We also opted for a few of their supplemental services, cleaning out the dryer vent, and the internals of our hot-water tank. We had several quotes for the furnace/AC installation. They were all different, but had ONE thing in common: ALL of them HIGHLY recommended SAFETY KING. I couldn’t be happier.

Air Purification Systems
The technician did a wonderfully safe job installing the REME HALO Whole-home in-duct air purification system quickly for the protection of my disabled son. I appreciate the priority he placed on safety and efficiency. The company got us in to their schedule within days rather than weeks or months. The installation works perfectly.

Furnace Installation/Replacement
Mike S. Palazzolo is the founder of the company as well as a founding member and Past President of NADCA.(National Air Duct Cleaners Association). Mike emphasizes that Safety King is a company that focuses on air ducts. No furnace installation or service, no maintenance of HVAC equipment, just duct cleaning. “This focus has allowed us to become top specialists in duct cleaning” Palazzolo says. “We clean the arteries and veins of a home.” A lack of focus is the source of many difficulties for jack of all trades type service companies where proficiency in any one area is never truly achieved. For example, some heating and cooling companies offer duct cleaning as a supplemental service, when their primary business is really installing and servicing heating and cooling equipment. Duct Work
Tony and Rob clearly explained the cleaning process that Marcus had laid out for us on his initial assessment. They were very attentive to all aspects of the cleaning detail, arrived right on time, finished exactly when they estimated, cleaned up well, offered to help us move back furniture, were very respectful of my 97 year-old mother-in-laws daily schedule, and double-checked all their work. They cleaned three furnaces and all related ductwork in our three-story, 120 year-old duplex. Needless to say, they got their steps in today!

Duct Sealing
Also, I had them do the aero seal on my ducts, and while their sales pitch nears to point of gimmick, the product is outstanding. I had chronic issues of my upstairs quad level (the furthest from the central air blower) about 5-7 degrees hotter than the thermostat target, even in a mid-70s day. After the duct seal, it’s now less than 1-2 degree difference, even on the hottest day! (Note: walls, windows, and attic have updated insulation that reduces confounding these findings)
