Little Red Barn Steakhouse

This restaurant has always been an icon in San Antonio. I remember going there as a child with my parents, brothers and sisters. This year, I have visited the restaurant twice and didn't think it could get much better, especially for the value, but it has. And it has grown to accomodate their loyal customer as well as their growing market.

While other big restaurants in San Antonio are closing their doors, it is wonderful to see the family owned and operated Little Red Barn is not only growing, but set to give their customers even more value.

My medium rare steak was just as good as other steak houses that I would pay much more for, and within seconds, I had my salad in front of me.

Thank you Little Red Barn Steak House for giving us San Antonions a restaurant we still believe in and it shows you still believe in San Antonio and your customers. It's also great to know that your expansion will accomodate even bigger private parties and events....

I will highly recommend your establishment for lunch, dinner and private parties.

I'ts fun to eat at Little Red Barn Steakhouse.

My family has eaten at Little Red Barn Steakhouse for over 20 years with my family. On our last visit we, we had the worst service. As is the typical protocol at this restaraunt, when you arrive and are seated you are given a salad. We waited 15 minutes before our waitress, server #10, Rosalinda came and took our beverage and food orders. By that time we had finished our salads. (We also noticed that she took the order of a family that arrived after us!) Additionally, she rushed to take our orders and was rude. When she returned with the bread rolls, she did not pick up our empty salad bowls and instead placed the basket of bread rolls on top of the salad bowls and left an almost empty pitcher of tea. When our plates arrived, side items were placed on the wrong plates and we ended up switching them out ourselves. Finally, she never came to check on the table or refill our drinks; she simply left the receipt on the table. Needless to say, she did not recieve a tip from our $60 bill and we voiced our complaints to management, they shrugged it off as "we were really busy tonight." Hence, the writing of this review. Be advised of the poor service!

Although the restaurant is popular with the locals, the steak quality is below most chains like SIZZLER

I have been here a few times over the years and it has been a cheap place to go out and get great food. But the other day when i went the steaks were horrible. No flavor and a little dry being that i ordered medium well. I recomment this place but just wanted to put out there that the cook that night was way off!!

This restaurant is great! The food, the employess, the prices and the atmosphere all exceeded my expectations!! Thanks!
