Lifetime Hardwood Floors, Inc.

I strongly urge anyone to avoid this company! We were promised a timeline weeks in advance that accommodated our out-of-town schedule. Now, three days before the start of the job, they want to move the job up three days. We cannot be displaced from our home with kids/pets,etc at a moments notice and cannot move up our out-of-town plans. If you cannot keep a timeline, don't promise one. Our kitchen has been done for two weeks, all we have been waiting on are the floors. Had I known this, I would have hired another company that could have accommodated our timeline.

From an email I sent to a friend who had asked about our recently refinished floors:



Before the job we were notified in their agreement paperwork that "There WILL BE touch up painting required on moldings and trim work". That notice combined with the fact that in 88 years the shoe molding had never been removed indicated to me that it would remain in place this time too. They pulled the shoe moldings and the 88 year old wood splintered into pieces, so it wasn't only a lot of work left behind but $160+ in new materials. They also failed to re-hang the doors they removed. We were told that removing the molding is necessary to do a good job and the doors are removed as a courtesy.



I do not recommend Lifetime Hardwood Floors out of Roseville.
